WOL as a Favorite

I would like to add a WOL favorite in UD Mobile, but it appears that all the node types require a status, which WOL nodes do not have. Am I missing a node type which does not have a status or if not can this be supported? A dummy status could be added to the node server or the app could be modified, but the former seems easier.

Only waking from sleep, not from power off.

Just got myself a brand new Asus Z790i with an Intel 13900k. Total screamer!

What better thing to do than to try out the Wake-on-LAN NS. Watched the youtube video on how to enable WoL and executed the steps in the BIOS and disabled fast start... (https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1045950/#1)

It is talking to my rig (and to my older Z170i as well), but only to wake them from being asleep, not to wake them from power off. Both are on wired ethernet. Both have their little lights blinking even when the computer is off, indicating that the NIC is on and listening.

I did also download a little WoL app for my Google Pixel. And it does wake them up...

A first question: does the NS actually send what they call a "magic packet"? I tried both settings with and without the magic packed enabled. No dice...

Hi Bob,

I noticed today that there was a message in Polyglot that a new version of WoL was available. I am currently on version 1.03. I tried stopping and starting the Node Server 2 times, but it doesn't appear to be updating and the message doesn't go away.

I tried this and didn't work, but not sure if my PC is working correctly to do a WOL.

However, I noticed that if I enter a MAC address eg. 11:22:33:44:55:66/192.168.10.10 (mac address is just and example here)

It only lists the first 5 vales:

Is this just cosmetic/normal due to node naming limitation?

Announcing Wake-On-Lan

Since IoP no longer has support for Wake-On-Lan built in, we need a way to schedule and/or trigger systems to wake up. This node server allows you do do that.

It is a very simple node server. To configure it you add custom parameters with a host name as the key and the mac address and IP address as the value. The host name is just for display purposes. The mac address and IP address are formatted as XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX/192.168.1.1 It's not picky about the separator character used for mac address (or if there even is one).

For each custom parameter a node will be created. The node supports one command - send WOL packet to the host.

If there are any additional features or improvements, let me know.
