  1. @Geddy No, the drive is toast. And old. So using a newer desktop and getting things setup. For the Insteon Java program, where are all the settings for our lights? Is it stored on the 994? Or is there a PC file I need to recover?
  2. @paulbates That start.jnlp got the ISY finder running. I need to run it on the PC that has the 994i on Thursday. I agree about the 5.xx versions. I won't upgrade since it was working fine with the old PC. The system is a couple of dozen lights and 8 presets in an auditorium. No automation, just a keypad (which works fine) and the PC.
  3. New win10 PC, installed Java, trying to run admin.jnlp For some reason, win10 can't find Java to run the jnlp file. Why can't win10 find the right executable for the jnlp file? In Properties for the jnlp file, I modified Opens with to use javaws.exe Is javaws.exe correct? But after modifying the Properties for Open with, I get this: Unable to launch application and the Java error details show: Unable to load resource: http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/4.6.2/admin.jnlp This URL doesn't exist. I see the ISY version is 4.6.2 which I assume is the current version in my 994i. I assume this is old. Do I have to update?
  4. I have been away from a working isy994i system for several months. Some volunteers have made some changes and now there is an IoX Launcher but no Admin Console can be discovered. The lights and keypad still work fine but I can't reach the Admin Console. if I use Add, all I get is a URL box. I have no idea what to put in for a URL. The network has not changed and the isy was configured as a static address years ago. There are some backups but I can't load them without a console interface. One volunteer said they got a 'cloud' backup loaded and it showed the Admin console. But they could not remember how it was done. There are about 20 lights, inline AC modules and wall dimmers. How do I reach a cloud backup? If I build the system back from scratch, will I lose all the programming?
  5. I see copy in Programs but I don't have any programs.
  6. I'm on 4.7.5 on the isy994. Where is the copy button?
  7. This appears to delete the old keypad. How do I copy the old keypad settings into the additional keypad?
  8. I'm adding a new 8 button keypad that needs to duplicate the settings in the current one. The current keypad is programmed for push-on, push-off for each button but also I need to turn on/off the keypad lights. Specifically, push button A turns on the scene, turns on button A light and turns off any other button lights. It was setup years ago and requires going into some advanced tabs but I don't know where they are. Is the a way to simply clone the setting in ISY for the new keypad? Or a way to show all the settings on the original keypad?
