  1. Gentlemen, thank you for your replies. When my mouser order gets here I'll do more troubleshooting. Perhaps I'll swap out some parts with a working ApplianceLinc and see if the problem moves. Like if one of the poly caps are bad.
  2. After replacing the caps on some of my LampLinc's they remain dead or only marginally communicate. The 30 Volt rail is good as is the 5 V rail. Any suggestions?
  3. Gentlemen, Thanks for all of the reply's. After some trials and tribulations I successfully back-reved to v4.9.0 and the 'wait' function works again.
  4. I went through all the programs and scenes after the update. Yes, I have a 300 board and I upgraded trying to get two Zooz motion sensors into my system to replace the problematic Insteon sensors. That was a total failure and I'm willing to live with that. However, I'm not willing to live with a 'Wait' function not working. The dog door program turns on two lights, waits for five minutes, and then turns off the two lights. Unfortunately, the 'wait' is now infinite. Some things that I have done are deleting the program entirely and rewriting it. I have separated the function into two programs where the first program turns on the lights and then calls the 'then' section of the second program to initiate the wait time and when it expires turn off the lights. I also moved the wait from the second program to the first in case you couldn't start a 'then' with a 'wait'. No luck. It appears to bail out on the wait statement as the function turns green when it runs but has a red bar on the left right after the lights turn on.
  5. Is it possible to back rev from 5.0.16 to 4.9? My ISY994i has been acting strange since the recent upgrade. The Z-Wave dongle drops connections, the Wait function doesn't work, and there is intermittent anomalous behavior with both programs and scenes.
  6. Yes, I'm on 5.0.16C. I wish I could find an older Z-Wave motion sensor that I used to have to compare. I've got a dog door setup that turns on the outside lights for 5 minutes. Not so much for the dogs use but for the wife to watch the dogs... The old Insteon sensors have started to randomly trigger. Worse, when I disable the sensor, any programing related to the disabled sensor continues to function. Which requires disabling the outside lights to get some sleep.
  7. With my Insteon motion sensors failing, I bought a Zooz ZSE29 v2.0 motion sensor. I cannot get ISY to even see the sensor. Is the sensor too new for the ISY Z-Wave 4.55.00 firmware to handle?
  8. I have a ISY994i ZW. I just upgraded from 4.9.0 to 5.0.16C using the 'udi_oadr_5.0.16C.zip' file. Most everything when well. However, when I look at the Z-Wave firmware version I'm still on 4.55.00 with a bootloader of 0.00 and when I tried to do a firmware upgrade of the Z-Wave, it fails. Is 4.55.00 the correct version for the UDI 5.0.16C? Or am I doing something wrong with the upgrade process.
  9. I solved this one. Sorry, I responded to the previous replys, which I thought would have been part of this thread. Apparently, Mr. Bill and others replied elsewhere. Again, sorry.
  10. I guess I need some help I bought a used 2444a2 Remote Link2. Gave it a 1st birthday. Cleared my Java. Put the remote into set (slow blinking green). Tried to link using the "Link a Remote Link2" option then I tried to link using the "New Insteon Device" option. My ISI is running 4.9.0 software. The 2444a2 does not appear in any of the drop down lists. Did ISY stop supporting the remote?
  11. @Techman Yes, I cleared everything - multiple times. However, I downloaded the launcher from an ISY email. Later, I would download from a saved address from the Wiki: http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/admin.jnlp The new new Java download from your referenced link says "start.jnlp" and has a different launch behavior. It also puts a different icon onto the desktop. Strange that the old link would still be valid. Thanks very much for your help. Happy Trails,
  12. Searched the forum and didn't see this exact issue listed. When I try to load the program using the "ISY994 Administrative Console" shortcut, I get a pop-up box that says "unable to launch application". If I repeatedly double-click on the shortcut, on the fifth double-click, I get a pop-up that says "downloading application" and then it fails to load. On the sixth double-click the program usually loads normally although very occasionally I have to load the saved local ISY address in the finder box too. I'm running v4.8.0 software and firmware, loaded in June. I've tried clearing the Java cache, adding the ISY website, adding the local ISY IP address, completely deleting Java and reloading. I'm really confused as to why Java is complaining about the certificates not matching on a .jnlp file it just downloaded. Happy Trails, Bob
