  1. Thanks, it works now. However, it shows everything in degrees F. Can I show it it Degrees C?
  2. Could you please help! I have a Ambient Weather WS2902A. I have installed your AmbientPoly NodeServer. It is asking for two parameters, an APIKey and the MAC address. I have the MAC address, but where do I find this APIKEY? Thanks for your help!
  3. You are correct I do have a publication date in the developer's cookbook but forgot to put it in the home automation book. I'll do that for the next revision Thanks for your comments
  4. This is to notify everyone that a new version of the ISY994 Home Automation Cookbook has been released. This document has been updated with corrections, new demo source code, and includes setup of Raspberry PI, Poloyglot, and how to install NodeServers. You can find online at: https://www.universal-devices.com/docs/production/The+ISY994+Home+Automation+Cookbook.pdf I have also released the first version of the ISY994 Developer's Cookbook. This is a compilation of all the information I have found for developing your own custom NodeServers for the ISY. This includes setup of Raspberry PI, Poloyglot, and how to install NodeServers. You can find in online at: https://www.universal-devices.com/docs/production/The+ISY994+Developer+Cookbook.pdf Again, if you find that there are corrections and/or additions required, please contact me by placing comments in this forum are emailing me at: isy.cookbook@gmail.com Thanks Deirich Fehr
  5. SLP, Thanks for your kind words! I, like you, am old school. I love having the information at hand when I program, etc. That is why I put together this book, gathering information from all the various sources, into a single compilation. I find it much easier to do something if I have all the information available at my side. I prefer hard copy myself, but with over 650 pages, this would be quite a book. The next best thing for me was to have a PDF copy. Also, publishing this into hard copy is a cost prohibitive task, unless there was enough interest to support this. I am working with Universal Devices to determine the best way to supply this information to you and the other users. I appreciate your comments and if there is anything you find in the book that you feel needs some work, or you would like more information in any area, please let me know and I will see if I can find and update the next issue. Thanks Deidrich Fehr
  6. I have corrected the document with the above information. Thanks for your input. I'll check into the "Talk" page suggestion. I'm not sure how it will help or how to use it, but I'll give it a try. Thanks Deidrich
  7. Tonyhuk, This document was created using the available information found on the Wiki and the forum. Yes, some of it may be outdated. This is version 1.0 of the document, and as such it is going to be updated for some time. In reality, the document will most likely always change, as new firmware versions come along. I am working with Universal Devices to bring this document current. Thanks for your input. Deidrich
  8. Larry, If they are just comments then you can leave them on this forum. If you want to send me files you can use an email address I have setup, which I can use exclusively for this. Send any files or documents you like to isy.cookbook@gmail.com. My intent is to keep improving this document. I will be adding all the v5 firmware stuff in as I get it. Thanks for your help! Deidrich
  9. Thanks Larry! If you can see anyway for me to improve this, feel free to let me know.
  10. For anyone interested in a book on the ISY please select one of the following links: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#ISY_Cookbook https://www.universal-devices.com/start/ under User Guides This is a first release of the above book, which contains around 650 pages. It covers a lot of information. Specifically for new users as well as anyone who wants to program the ISY with the units native programming language and built in capabilities. It contains a lot basic and technical information. I have consolidated of this information into a single source, specifically for my use. However, I am releasing it for everyone to use. It does not cover advanced programming, but if there is enough interest I may look on producing another book with topics such as programming and setting up Polyglot, Node Servers, etc. Please let me and Universal Devices know your thoughts on this book. Whether good or bad. We would appreciate your feedback. You can send any comments, files, and documents to: isy.cookbook@gmail.com. Based on this we will decide if this is something that we will maintain and keep current. Please let fellow users know about this book so we can a lot of feedback. Thanks Deidrich Fehr
