  1. OK, that’s good to know. I’ve done this move before but perhaps I was just lucky. Wouldn’t the clearing of the Java temp files have taken care of that?
  2. That’s what I thought but it never showed up and wouldn’t allow me to move it with the windows key. Plus, the IoX window was locked up. Perhaps the app or Java didn’t like the screen resolution or other features of the AVR-TV?
  3. OK, I have it running. My configuration in my Home Theater is that I'm using my AVR --> LG TV as the second monitor, allowing me to run REW, etc. I shut down the AV system, reran IoX launcher and the Admin Console app runs. It came up in the 2nd monitor space which I couldn't see so I moved it over to the main monitor. I guess this is a Windows issue, does this make sense to anyone? Thanks for the troubleshooting ideas.
  4. Yes, I see EISY in router. IoX Launcher sees the EISY also. I have a Netgate Router/Firewall running pFSense; All WiFi "routers" are configured as Access Points, no DHCP running. Computer is on Ethernet so not a factor. I'm running unmanaged switches, in this case I'm going through two switches. I thought this might be a problem based upon other postings so that's why I tried via WiFi but no difference. I removed power from EISY for a minute and repowered. I removed power from the Netgate and Netgear unmanaged switch, and restored. I did download my Start.jnlp from Universal Devices. VPN is disconnected. UD Mobile is working fine on my iPad. Still no change. I can physically move the computer back today if no other ideas come to mind. See attached screen clips.
  5. Yes, all three boxes that includes apps. UD Mobile reports 5.8.4 I can’t run the PC app to see the version. Everything is running on the same network. I did switch my PC to WiFi but no change. I can’t run the Admin Console, just the IoX launcher. Tried from cloud and from local network. So, Windows PC, no. UD Mobile via WiFi iPad works.
  6. Windows 10 I deleted Java cache and apps. Reran Start.jnlp. Tried without VPN. Tried with Ethernet and WiFi. IoX Launcher loads and sees the EISY. I can run from the cloud or via local network. App shows up in the task bar but freezes. It will only clear via Task Manager. UD Mobile works fine. I tried rebooting the EISY, no change. The only thing that changed since it worked last is that I physically relocated my computer to a different part of the house and am using different monitors. What can I try next? Thanks, Scott
  7. Good news/Bad news I received the dimming micro module. I hooked it up on the bench with one dimmable LED and a toggle switch for the Sense #1 line. It worked fine. I wasn't sure how it was going to work with the sense line vs. program control. I set it to latched mode and basically, it responds to either program or switch. If the light is ON, and the Switch is ON, the program can turn the light off, dimmed, etc. Anytime the light is OFF or dimmed, and the switch goes High, the light goes to full brightness. Unfortunately, when I installed it into the real fixture, it failed very quickly. The load was only two 19 W LED's, but upon the second turn on via program, I heard a loud pop. Triac definitely shorted. The module still communicates, but it can't control the load, it's always ON. Customer Support had me do a factory reset, of course, that didn't work but I did it anyway. The reviews on this device look pretty bad as far as reliability. I'm going to send this back and get the ON/OFF module. Should be much more reliable based upon the reviews.
  8. OK, thanks, I'll give it a shot. I was just trying to save the cost of buying something that wasn't going to work for this application.

  10. I've got a RAB Lighting Super Stealth motion detector. It is an excellent motion detector. I'm interested in making the lights directly or indirectly controlled from the motion detector as well as from iSY Insteon commands. I found the handymanhowto article on using the 2443-222 On/Off switch but I have some questions since I've never used any of the MicroModules. If I use a 2442-222 Dimmer MicroModule, with the sense monitoring the motion detector output, do I still have remote control over the dimmer output regardless of the state of the sense input/motion detector output? Also, the iSY should be able to detect when the MicroModule was activated via the Sense line to perform other actions, correct? Thanks, Scott
