  1. I have an ISY994i that was purchased with Zwave built in. My Zwave version is 6.81.00, so I'm thinking I have a 500 series board. If I wanted to upgrade to an eisy, do I need the full Zwave dongle, or is there a board in my ISY994i that I can remove and put in the Zwave dongle case?
  2. I agree! I may be on borrowed time with my ISY. Time for an upgrade.
  3. I agree! In fact, I made 3 backups. It’s still a mystery as to how the old SD card miraculously came back to life. Your suggestion to replace it is well taken. I have a 32GB card in stock. I hope the replacement goes glitch free. in the back of my mind, I’m wondering if there might be a contact issue in the socket that the SD card slides into. I thoroughly cleaned the contacts on the card itself numerous times, each time re-seating it. Maybe the last time was coincidence. I also copied all the files on the card to the PC. I’m hoping it’s not a socket or hardware issue. I guess I’ll find out. Thanks for all your help and advice.
  4. To All Who Have Helped: Many thanks! As a last ditch effort, before replacing the SD card with a new one, I put the card in an adapter and copied the files on it to a directory on my computer for safe keeping. I opened a command prompt and ran CHKDSK (without the fix parameter). I ejected the card, put it back in my ISY994i and plugged it in. The Iox Launcher immediately loaded the LAN console! My password wouldn't work, so I tried admin. It came right up, programs, scenes, zwave, variables, EVERYTHING. First thing I did was a backup. I closed the console, restarted it in LAN mode, and it all works. After all that, I have no idea why, but thanks to all who have helped!
  5. I'm pretty sure its the SD card. I put it into the older ISY, and got a flashing error light on the front of the ISY. Although that could have been some other type of mis-match associated with swapping cards. I'm left with a bad SD card, containing all of my programs, that work just fine (which is hard for me to understand, because they don't show up on the Cloud version). My backup is older (My Bad). Is there any way to recover my programs, variables, and plug-ins from the card using a computer? I have a micro SD adapter?
  6. I have an older ISY994i, and I tried hooking it up to the network and powered it on. The Iox Launcher worked fine, and I was able to access the Admin Console on my LAN. Of course, it was from another system, the firmware was outdated... But I was able to launch the LAN version. I now know that I am not having firewall, Java, or network issues. When I go back to the ISY I am having trouble with, I am left with the speculation that there is either a hardware problem with the ISY, or an SD Card issue. What information is stored on the SD card? If its a hardware issue, and I swap SD cards with the ISY that connects, will all the properties (plug ins, programs, devices, etc...) be ported over with the SD card?
  7. I just noticed that when I choose Cloud with the IoX launcher, I get an error message [LIB_ERRORS-403] If I hit the OK button, I am able to view the console, but my programs will not load.
  8. Hi Dennis, That didn't work either. I am thinking about swapping SD cards and firing up the other ISY I have.
  9. Hi Dennis, I have already changed it to -Xmx1024m. That didn't help. I have another ISY994i that was in another location and no longer used. If I swap the SD cards will my programs, variables and devices import to the other ISY? I just need to get the system up and running long enough to do a backup so I can migrate to eisy. The many programs run fine, I just can't access the ISY on my LAN.
  10. Hello, I don’t have a VPN. I do see my ISY on my router. When I try to launch using the IoX launcher with the LAN option, it just stalls. The lights on the ISY flash briefly, but nothing happens. I have to close the launcher to try again. The cloud function works, but my programs don’t show up.
  11. I am running an ISY994i Version 5.0.15A o Windows 10 Everything was working fine, until a few days ago. I wanted to tweak some programs, and when I went to load the LAN console using the Iox Launcher nothing happens. The cloud version works, but none of my programs are there. All existing programs are working, I just can't access the ISY. Below are the things I have tried: Rebooted the network Rebooted (power Cycled) my PC Power Cycled the ISY994i Cleared the Java Cache Reloaded start.jnlp Cleaned contacts on the SD card Temporarily disabled my firewall I want to migrate to eisy, but I need to get at my stored programs. Does anyone have any ideas?
  12. Thank You! Problem Solved!
  13. I recently swapped out an older ISY994i with a newer ISY994i ZW+ IR PRO. The X10 functionality seems to be different with this ISY. If I want to name my older X10 devices the WIKI help says I need to purchase the Enhanced A10/X10 Firmware module. When I click on Help/Purchase Modules, it takes me to a UD "Page Not Found" page. I am at version 5.0.15A. Can anyone help?
