  1. Thanks for the reply, the fireshed is the scene and the spotlight is a SwitchLinc. We rarely use that light but this has happened a few times. Really it comes down to the wife blaming me for leaving it on I might end up making a poll program/rest script every 5/15 mins to see if I can catch this.
  2. I'm curious if this device turned on before the Query Program ran (3am) and it logs any changes as "it occurred" at this time. Its possible it got hit during the day but that would indicate a communication issue for these devices to report their status which I thought is working every time we turned it on. The other idea was its paired to a remote that might be doing something weird if its batteries are low or something. Anyone else seen behaviors like this before? 3. Smarthome replaced it so I didn't end up tinkering around with it. But the connections for the sensor didn't have any cracks in the solder.
  4. Hey everyone I've got a few door sensors but i've got one that stopped working. This isn't a surprise since this house has had slightly over 50% fail rate for those units replaced(Side note: switching to lithium batteries might be fixing them frying them at low volts, can't complain too much as SmartHome has been great so far). I have a new failure type not the typical unit doesn't power up or anything. This one if you press the button the LED does indeed light up but doesn't light up when you pass the magnet by the sensor even touching it to the unit. I would assume the magnet probably isn't bad but the sensor that reads the field might be? Is there much to test, the board looks pretty clean.
