Techman... I recieved a new PLM yesterday. To install it, do i just plug it into the EISY, power it up and restore the PLM from within the UD portal software? I don't want o lose everything. I have afair amount of devices.

I have a 4000 sq ft house with a dozen insteon wall switches all work fine. I have a pool house that is 90 ft away from the PLM. In the pool house there is on-off modules for the pool pump/heater along with a number of wall switches. They work fine. Where I lose control is in the pavilion which is 125 ft away from the pool house. I was thinking about the 2nd EISY in the pool house. I hope this makes sense.

Can I have more than one EISY on the same account? I have number of Insteon devices in three buildings. I have one EISY with a serial PLM now. I works alright, but the farther away I get from the PLM the less it works. I was thinking about adding 2 EISY’s with separate PLM’s. Can I control all three EISY with one UD app?

The PLM # is 2413S and the revision # is 2.4 2817 Is this an older unit?

Lately a number of my Insteon devices will not react to commands. I have to activate them numerous times before the lights go on or off. I'm wondering if restoring the PLM would help? All my devices are powered, so I assume i just hit restore and see what happens. If this isn't the problem, do you have any idea what should try. I do have a Insteon Extender in the line and it shows sold green. I have tried to move it, but that didn't help.

Got it. I just ordered a serial to USB cable. Thanks for your help. I have a serial PLM that I wasn’t using.

I think I understand what the problem was, but I haven’t been able to fix it. I had the PLM still plugged into the 994i and the EISY plugged in to network. I now have the Wi-Fi setup on the EISY and the PLM plugged into the EISY Ethernet port. I can get into the portal from a desktop and the UD Mobile App, but the results are the same.

I've migrated to EISY from 994i and none of my Insteon device are working. They all show up in the portal as "RED". If you try to turn on a light etc. nothing happens. If I go back to the 994i it works fine. Did I miss a step in the migration process?

I found out I had to use the app not the web based Administrative Console. Now the EISY is on my app, but I can’t import/sync the devices/programs/ scenes that are on the old 994i. How do I move everything over? I did a backup put it won’t restore onto the EISY.

I’ve reboot both devices and restarted the administrator console. I did find the EISY in the ISY Finder and when I click on it it goes to a new administrator console but it won’t let me change the login information or basically won’t let me do anything. What step am I missing?

I’m trying to migrate from my 994i to the EISY. I have the EISY added to my portal, but when I go to migrate it say it’s pending approval in Administrative Console. If I go in to portals in the administrative console the EISY doesn’t so up under portals. How do I grt the EISY approved so I can migrate from the 994i?

It doesn't let me launch Polyglot V2. It says "site can't be reached". To be fully transparent, I am trying to connect through a VPN, but I don't know why that would be a problem when I can launch V3 the same way.

I had this posted before, but I see its closed. I was unable to work on this project recently. I followed the instruction from Mr. Bill. I'm now able to find my Polisy using ISY launcher and launch Polyglot V3 (PG3). My previously installed node servers show "Unmanaged". When I install a new Node server it show "Connected". I'd like to delete all my installed node servers and start over, but I can't uninstall the ones that are "Unmanaged" I've done a factory reset using the reset button, but they still show up when I reconnect. Any ideas?

I can log in to my Polisy Pro using the IP address, but all my nodes servers show "unmanged". I've been told I need to log in through the portal. My ISY 994i shows in the Launcher, but not the Polisy. When I type in the same address into the ISY Launcher i get an error "Not Found" it doesn't matter if i use HTTPS://IP_Address:8443 or HTTP://IP_Address:8080 or HTTPS://Polisy:8443/desc Nothing will let me connect. The end game is to migrate from my ISY 994i IR/Pro v5.3.0 to my Polisy Pro. Any help would be appreciated.
