		eisy-ui confusion

I installed the current updates, 14.3 and the associated eisy-ui. Now, how do I add a tile that controls a program? I see how to add a tile for a node, but most of my interaction with eisy is to kick off some program controlling multiple nodes/lights. When at home page, adding a tile will only allow me to add a node, not a program. When I click on Home:Programs, I see them but I can only run it now or one of the other 4/5 options that were available in the old AC. I thought eisy-ui was a replacement for the old java based tool? Thanks, Dave

		Eisy controlable light bulbs

Thanks guys for the responses. Interesting on the wifi bulbs, I've looked thru the documentation but couldn't see how to talk to a wifi bulb, and did not see a polyglot that would do that either. Can you point me to an example or docs on how to talk to a wifi device/bulb? Thanks again guys. @larryllix, I'm an electrical engineer, but high frequency, radar, solid state amps. Networking, I only get wet. I understand enough about your post that I know that is not the way I want to go. I applaud your ability to get it working. When Eisy internallizes that, I would be interested. It does seem strange at this point in time to have to do all of that to send IP commands. Since I don't have an api, and don't trust these guys to be consistent, and I have enough frustration in life, that I will pursue a zigbee solution. I was hoping to avoid adding yet another protocol, but so be it. Thanks, Dave

		Eisy controlable light bulbs

I'm getting a little frustrated with Eisy's slow evolution, and the "Smart" light bulb market. I've had Insteon light bulbs, no longer produced, iNovelli z-wave light bulbs, no longer produced, and recently had to get some additional replacements. As far as I can tell, no currently marketed bulbs are Eisy compatible. Supported formats are Bluetooth, Zigbee, Hue, Alexa, Apple and a bunch of odd balll Chinese brands. What am I missing? Dave

Controlling outside lights with Lux values

The other way to prevent rapid on off cycles is to turn on at a value, turn off at a slightly different value, ie, on at 1000lux off at 1200 lux. Basically a hysterisis control.

Error message on connection with ISY994

Thanks, that worked. I know I have changed SD cards in the past, but I don't recall having to go thru this process. To be honest, home automation will never take off if users have to use a terminal session and reload bootloaders. I have an Eisy on order, I hope we are beyond this, I'm not really inclined to learn Home Assistant, it appears to have similar warts. Dave

Error message on connection with ISY994

I get the following popup when I open the admin console: I am running 5.3.4, have reformatted the SD card, installed an earlier system backup, and the error persists. If the Z-Wave and Elk modules installed, but it will not connect to the elk, and I am not using z-wave currently. I have been unable to add new devicesl, but can communicate thru the GUI to control devices, and my programs run, but cannot be modified. What other information is needed? Dave
