Hi, I tried searching but I can't decipher what the current status of ISY and Nest thermostats are. Is there any control possible from my ISY to my Nest? I'm looking to turn them off or change the temperature based on a door sensor being open. Thanks Jason

Well the short answer is the ISY Homebridge software still has some work that needs to be done. These are known issues and on the list to be fixed eventually. Jason

Hi, So I have my ISY and raspberry pi HomeKit working well. Yesterday I installed the Insteon garage door opener and ran into some problems with how I wanted to use it. The sensor comes up as “not supported yet” in the HomeKit app and even if I add it to a scene it doesn’t report status correctly. In my home app I would like to see if the door is Open or Closed based on that sensor. Any suggestions on how to do that with the supported limitations? What’s a good way to configure the relay? I thinks it’s a momentary press to open and close so it can’t really show a status there. I can almost see ways to do this with programs where it can look at the sensor and set the switch status but I haven’t tried it yet. I was wondering if anybody else had before I try to reinvent the wheel again. also any suggestions on how to make it so I can say to Siri “open garage door” or “close garage door”. Right now it works if I say “turn garage door on” but from earlier I don’t have status. thanks jason

@CompKing thanks! you hit the nail on the head. It doesn't like my Motion Sensor II, Insteon thermostats, or door sensors. when I removed all those the rest showed up. I'm not sure exactly what is the problem, I don't really care, that did it. I know the MSIIs are a big PITA in everything ISY but for the rest it's working!! Thanks Jason

hi, is there any more documentation on this process? I did the super easy install, which was super easy, and it connected to my ISY and the terminal window shows it finding all my items but noting shows in Home app on my iphone. Do I need to add each item to the config that I want to show? I'm just not sure where I need to go next. Thanks, Jason
