  1. OK... I'm not quite ready to call this over, but I believe I've got this figured out. I had a huge range of bizarre symptoms, some listed in the original post, and they all seem to have been resolved by removing an old network bridge. My current guess is that this UI is the most sensitive thing on my network and the old bridge was losing packets. Since removing and replacing the old bridge everything seems to be working fine. I'm in the process of recovering and updating my PLM.
  2. I'm having this exact same problem, started in the same timeframe. I've tried upgrading my ISY 994 from 4.7.1 to 5.2, ,factory reset, reformatted the storage, all no fix. I even ordered a new ISY 994, came with 4.8, exact same problem on both units with all three firmware versions. Dashboard errors look just like yours, Admin Console crashes.
  3. I'm actually not a new user, have been using a ISY994 for about 8 years without problems. I always used IE to run the Java and I think my problem may be a missing or blocking PC config of some sort. I'm now trying to run the stand alone java. Errors include: telnet access works , but when I enable internet access I get "Could not configure the gateway." ISY Finder finds my ISYs. I have one brand new that came with firmware 4.8.0 and my previous unit I upgraded to 5.3, both having the same problem. ISY Dashboard gives errors "I/O Error: ProxyDevice" and "Socket Open Failed java.io.IOException: an Existing Connection was forcibly closed by the remote host" ISY Admin Console fails immediately after authentication, flashing an error I can't catch. What I've validated: I'm running Java 8 update 271 I've shut down all virus software I've reinstalled java repeatedly and cleared caches repeatedly I upgraded the firmware of my old 994, did a factory reset, did a storage reformat, all seemed to have no impact. The problem started on my 994 with 4.7.1. I upgraded to 5.3, same problem. I bought a new unit with 4.8. Same problem. Other Considerations The router is an Orbi, fairly new. I think I've used the 994 Admin console since that change, not 100% sure. I've tested on a PC with Windows 10 and Windows 7, same results. At this point I'm just trying to connect to the admin console. Both 994s are empty, no configuration restores. Any ideas? I'm very used to all this stuff working without issues.
  4. I've got the ISY-99i with firmware 3.3.10, which it seems to think is the latest firmware. I also see from the thread you provided: Important Notes - Unfortunately - and due to code space limitations on ISY99 Series - we will no longer have any firmware releases for ISY99i Series And that's followed by release notes that show the 2334 being supported in 4.0.1. Is there a way to get the ISY-99i to support the 2334? Thanks, T.
  5. Any guess on when these will be supported? I just used one to replace an older unit and now I'm stuck. These are the dual band dimmers, 6 and 8 button, and I was excited to see them out. I'll be "broken" until these are recognized.
  6. Hi there, I'm trying to do something similar. I've got a power skylight I'm controlling via a IRLinc TX, and want to have a keypadlinc button in toggle mode open and close the skylight. I have two scenes on the ISY, one with the IR OPEN command, and the other with the IR CLOSE command. They work fine from the ISY. Is there a way to use the ISY to link the OPEN scene to the on-mode for the keypadlinc button, and the CLOSE scene to the off-mode for the same keypadlinc button? Is there a better way to get this done? As a workaround, I've got an ISY program that gets the job done, but it seems to reduce the reliability. Thanks, T.
