  1. All is good now. I reloaded the admin console, and it worked fine. Admin, admin worked. Password reset worked. All devices and programs are present. Thank you so much for your help.
  2. Ok, that worked sort of. None of my devices or programs are available. The “restore Backup” option is not available. I cannot rest password either. Thanks for staying with me.
  3. Thanks for the reply. I did as you said. It did not ask to me download a file. However, it would not accept my logon credentials. Is there a way to reset that?
  4. I am trying to get into the admin console and having problems. This comes after I "cleaned up" some files on my laptop. I get to this screen and tell it to load admin console. I'm asked to select a file to restore and I get this message. I cannot extract the backup zip to any location. Somehow, I get past that and get the logon screen. It does not recognize my logon credentials and that is where I am stuck. I can get into thru the ISY Portal and UD Mobile works. any suggestions for a next step would be appreciated.
  5. I think my issue is a bad switch. I’m good for right now. Thanks

    This Is Weird!

As the title says, I'm getting some strange behavior with my system. I have an ISY994i and Insteon hardware. I know it is old equipment, but it still works. An Amazon Echo is in the system too. If I have one or more lights on and another Insteon light is commanded to come on either via a program or manually, the lights that were on before the new instruction will dim while the new instruction is executed. They then return to their previous levels after the instruction is executed. I don't have the slightest idea of how to troubleshoot this. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for your help.
  7. Thank you for trying to help me with this issue. I did do the restore device. At the moment, everything is working. I'm going to quit while I'm ahead.
  8. Firmware and UI are both 5.3.4 Here is the links table. I cannot identify device 2f:B8:DE. 1C:25:7D is a Remote Linc 2B:A8:9A is a keypad Linc What are your thoughts?
  9. The saga continues. I have one device, 18:EA:C7, a 2477D, that is supposed to come on 1 minute before sunset. I cannot interpret the log, but it appears that the ISY is sending a command and the switch is not responding. The program does also have a command to turn off the switch at 1 a.m. which does seems to work. What is happening to the "on" part of the program? I have attached the log. Here is the entry when it is supposed to turn on. Mon 05/29/2023 07:55:38 PM : [ 18 EA C7 1] ST 38 (uom=100 prec=0) thanks for your coments. ISY-Events-Log.v5.3.4__Tue 2023.05.30 09.06.53 AM.txt
  10. Both the firmware and UI are v 5.3.4 So.............I re-did some of the programs and everything seems to working just fine. Except for one thing. I have a 2476D light switch which the admin console says it cannot communicate with. However, that switch is part of a program and the program runs as expected. Since it is working, I'm not going to mess with it. Just curious about the light switch status. Thanks for helping me. I appreciate it.
  11. I have an ISY 994i controlling an Insteon system. Lately, my programs operate on a hit-and-miss basis. I don't know if it is the ISY or the PLM. Things seem to work OK using Alexa. I have done a factory reset on the PLM with no improvement. The ISY seems to report the correct status of devices so I think they do communicate. The remote controls seem to work fine. So, I'm confused. Where is the communications breakdown, with the ISY or with the PLM. Is there a test for these devices? thanks for the help.
