    Alexa and hidden door sensor

    Duane McGuire posted a topic in Amazon Echo
    I have a hidden door sensor, which ISY understands. But Alexa cannot report its status. Me: Alexa Is the deadbolt closed? Alexa: Deadbolt doesn't support that. Me Alexa what's the status of deadbolt? Alexa: That's not supported yet. (I have verified that Alexa has discovered the device, and ISY Portal has given it a spoken name. ) The skill "try this" section suggests that this might work. Is there something that will report status?
