  1. Hi all...in case it helps anyone, Michael was able to get back to me directly. The dongle is 700 based, not 800, so yes it's 'long range' but it's not 800 long range. Yes, that's a little confusing.
  2. ...that's what I was trying to determine. I've searched the Forums, asked the various AIs, but can't get a clean answer. This is my current configuration of the zwave device in question:
  3. Thanks......I was referring to the below, which implies it supports LR....or is it that the currrent dongle doesnt yet support LR, but will....any insights ?
  4. Hi. I have EISY w/Zwave-Zmatter dongle. Both are on most current firmware versions. I also have UD Mobile @ current. I'm long time Insteon user (150+devices) and am experimenting with Zwave. I gave up on Zmatter (too immature still) and have several Zoos 800 LR devices. I've included them. I'm disappointed in the range. I've moved dongle to less 'wall constrained' location (using USB 2.0 enable cable) to get it physically away from the EISY and associated other metal distractions. The Zooz Zen04 800 LR acts like a non-LR device. Is there anyway to actually tell if it's included as LR. When I added it, I used the OCR method, on UD Mobile as it was recommended by others on the forum, but I'm questioning if it really included as LR. Any quick methods to confirm ? Thank you in advance Scott
  5. Acting hung again tonight...
  6. Hi. I have about 100+ Insteon devices deployed. I'd like to expand into getting smart on Z-Wave world, running in the same network with my Insteon. In searching the internet there seems like there are many manufactures of Z-wave devices, but I'd like to limit my use to a couple of top 3 vendors. Is there common view on who the 'top 3' might be, i.e. most trusted, most robust, most invested in the platform, might be ? Thanks in advance...
