    Replacing a Bond Fan Controller and switch with Insteon FanLinc and ^button Switch.
    Thanks so much to Steve at Insteon and the folks in this thread that provided all the clues and advice necessary to finally figure out how to get this all working including the best way to program the Fan motor settings! The bottom line if you replace a Bond Fan Controller and Switch with an Insteon Switch switch and fan controller, Insteon was totally correct to tell me to have the light on when linking. (The fan came with the Bond switch and controller). I originally set the switch button on and linked them. That didn't work. Had no idea that I could turn the light on by doing a Fast On. Finally hit me that doing that was what I needed to do before I linked the Switch and the light. That finally worked. Thanks so much.
