I recently updated to 5.3.0 so I am not sure if that has anything to do with it but here I go. Ok I am trying to modify a scene that I set up wrong initially. It was supposed to be an "all off" button but one of the lights in the scene decided it was going to turn on instead. I am now almost a year later trying to fix the problem. I have removed the switch from the scene and rewrote it many times trying to get it to turn off instead of on. I also removed the controller and added it back to no avail. Not really sure where to go from here but I feel like the scene editing has changed with this new update. I have also tried to set up a 'nighttime snack' scene that turns an insteon dimmer switch and a z-wave dimmer to %10 with a different keypads button. For some reason pressing the button will only turn the two dimmers off but testing the scene from the admin console turns both lights on at %10. I don't remember having problems with any of these things before I updated the firmware but it has been over a year. Any help would be great.

wow that was it! I would include that tip in your tips and tricks. Never would have thought to remove the factory programing from a new device. Tanks a ton for the help and your tips and tricks guide is awesome!

I never used the zwave features of any of the devices. I did a factory reset on the isy before starting. I will look into how to do a remove of the door locks now though.

I have read this post a few times today. I now have my lock next to my isy, same issue. Could I really need another device, like a repeater, just to add the lock to the network?

I have a 994i that i have been using for a little over a year to control my insteon devices. I have two Kwikset smart locks with z wave that I figured I should add. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F3T64LD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 t this is the exact ones I bought in 2019. I got the z wave module from UD and upgraded to 5.3.0. I followed all the instructions for installing the dongle and upgrading, it shows a zwave version 6.82.01. I have repeatedly tried to add the two locks with no avail, by selecting add a zwave device from the z-wave menu then clicking the 'A' button on the lock and nothing happens. One lock is about 10ft from the isy and the other is about 25. neither one shows up. I only get a long red blink on the lock when pressing the 'A' button to pair. Any help would be greatly appreciated as apparently adding these devices is supposed to be very easy.
