  1. Looks like the problem might be fixed. No incidents of them turning on at 1AM since I deleted them and reinstalled them.
  2. I won't know until the morning. It always seems to happen sometime over night.
  3. I have the device IDs.
  4. I have a three way switch set up to control our dining room light. The Insteon devices are the micro switch modules. I'm controlling everything with a Polisy. They were originally under the Insteon hub before the crash. I don't recall if they were also directly connected at one point. Do I need to just factory reset them and then let Isy find them, or is there another option that doesn't require pulling them out of the wall? Those boxes are really crowded inside.
  5. That fixed it. Thank you.
  6. I have a 6-button keypad controlling a ceiling fan/light combo via a fanlinc. This week, the two decided to stop talking while I was out of town. Wife isn't a big fan of the automation, less so when it stops working. The set up is the on button turns the light on, off turns it off. Buttons A thru C control the fan speed. The fanlinc and keypad are controllable through the admin console separately - the button illuminate appropriately when activated on the console and the fan/light turn on according to their programing. The Polisy is up-to-date and rebooted. The light turns on with Alexa. Is there any other fixes I can do aside from nucing the scenes and rebuilding them?
  7. I just updated my Polisy. When I tried to start the admin console using the currently available launcher here: https://www.universal-devices.com/resources/, I get an error saying that the firmware is version 5.9.1 and the admin console is 5.8.4. So, how do I get the appropriate admin console?
  8. Back to normal here in NC. Alexa did some weird stuff and started collecting devices with the same name, so I'm going through and trying to simplify things. Probably some house keeping that needed to be done anyway. Everything with a Hue bulb now has an Insteon keypad between it and the supply.
  9. It's just after midnight here on the east coast of the US. Went to turn off the lights using Alexa and it says the skill isn't enabled. Tried to enable the skill and it says something about the portal. Tried to log into the portal and I get a "HTTP 429 error". Google says that indicates I've made too many requests. The admin console says the portal is offline. Not sure what's going on. Any ideas?
  10. Interestingly, the PG3x UI showed the device names updated. The IoX did not update. I uninstalled the plugin and redownloaded it. It's not showing up in IoX at all now. I'm gone for the week, so I'll have to play with it next week some more.
  11. I'm moving Hue bulbs around after adding smart switches at certain locations. I changed the name of the bulbs in the Hue app, but I can't seem to get the Hue plugin to update the names. How do I do that? Query doesn't do anything.
  12. I ended up deleting the scene and just using the Fanlinc light part as a device with Alexa. Seems to work. The switch won't be involved, but at least the desired effect is achieved.
  13. Yes, the Fanlinc is capable of dimming and brightening the bulbs. I checked a variety of them with the UDM. The keypad is an on/off switch (2487S), so the command would have to go directly to the Fanlinc.
  14. My goal is a dumb LED light controlled by the Fanlinc. The Alexa category is Light. When I use the mobile app and select the 10% scene, the light turns off. If I select it again, it goes to 10%. Here are the pics. The light was on at 100% when the screen capture occurred.
  15. Until I decided to Insteon the bedroom while my wife is off traveling, our typical nighttime routine was her telling Alexa to turn the lights to 10% and the Hue bulbs in the ceiling fan would comply. This left the room light enough for me to come in and then turn off the lights when I went to bed. Now I have a keypad and fanlinc. Would like to pull out the Hue bulbs for use elsewhere. I set up a scene in ISY called "Lights 10%" where the action is to dim the light to 10% over 8.5 seconds. I then published this to Alexa via the portal as an Alexa device. When I issue the command, the lights turn off. So, where am I going wrong? I'm not a programmer, so this is all new to me.
