took the plunge and upgraded. no issues at all, less than 15 minutes. Only issue was no matter tab but all you have to do is after upgrade turn on matter in configuration tab and reboot. Might have put that in the upgrade instructions Michel K >>> may have spoken too soon. Synched ud mobile and got a matter error. going to wait on it but rest of my system is fine a reboot much faster

so I added a hue plug to my hue system, works fine. Problem is how to get it to eisy. My existing hue lights all in eisy and work fine, just plug wont show. I tried adding node, adding all nodes, restarting eisy, restarting hue, no joy. Im sure this is easy, just escaping me

FYI to anyone following. The solution came after I submitted a ticket. Everything was resolved by UD on their end. I had previously deleted all my notifications so not sure that helps. As an additional bit of info though I recently upgraded my iPhone and now wonder if that was somehow related? Curious if anyone with this problem also did same?

I'm using UD mobile on IOS. Recently ( been using for >6 months without issue) the notification badge on the app icon registers 100. When I open the app the count is correctly listed ( usually 0-10 notifications). When I close the app the icon badge will now correctly display the count but it eventually reverts to 100. I have tried deleting app, restarting phone and reinstalling but no joy.

Thanks.. decided to just start the zwave fresh. Factory reset my enbrighten switches and then linked them to eisy. Each switch creates five nodes, an on-off, a scene 1 , scene 2, basic associations 1 and basic associations 2 . Have tried various combinations but so far cannot create a simple 3-way scene ( load switch and a remote switch) . Any idea which node combination or setting for same?

I just made a isy994 backup then loaded it to eisy. Nothing specific for z wave, instructions implied that is included in backup

yes, z wave box is checked/saved. I migrated fro isy994 5.3 to eisy 5.6

Booted up my new eisy and loaded an Isy backup. Insteon looks great but none of my zwave devices migrated. What did I miss?

Thank you. That is helpful. Have not been paying attention to HA lately and was stunned when I realized that Insteon may be disappearing. Want to understand what I will need to do to keep my whole house system running.

Understood. I have several overhead lights that were originally controlled by classic three way switch wiring but are now controlled by Insteon switches. Each light has 2-3 switches that are grouped together as a scene to control the individual light like “chandelier” The switches do not share any wiring anymore In addition, several of those lights are then linked in larger scenes like “living room” all works great with Insteon but I am concerned about supply issues as these switches seem to have limited life spans. At time of replacement can the above be done with a typical zwave, say GE enbrighten, using ISY scenes? thanks for your patients. I am a hobbyist at best

Sorry, not clear. Are you suggesting writing programs for each circuit? Will ISY scenes work with zwaze? Seems would be more robust
