I'm new to the ISY family and am setting up my eisy home with a USB PLM for use with Insteon switches. I have my first light switch configured in eisy and now I'd like to set up a program to turn it on/off. I'd like to have the light turn on when I get home--if it's after sundown. I could use geo-fencing or opening my August Smart Lock (2nd gen with WiFi bridge) to trigger the light. Can someone tell me if this is a reasonable request and point me in the proper direction for how to go about making this happen? Thank you very much!

Should I keep the USB PLM and use a different hub? Or should I keep the ISY994i and try to find a serial PLM? It seems they're not readily available, or are quite expensive.

I have my ISY994i ZW/IR PRO Z-Wave | INSTEON | X10 Automation Controller connected to my network and am able to access it via the ISY Finder. I have a PowerLinc Modem - INSTEON 2413U USB Interface (Dual-Band) connected to my computer and have installed the driver. I have several Insteon 2477D SwitchLinc Remote Control Dual-Band Dimmer switches in my home and would like to see if I can control them via the ISY. I've spent quite a bit of time reading online documentation, but am missing something. I'm not able to get the switches to show up on the Admin Console. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not able to communicate with with the ISY. It doesn't show up on my network. I have network activity lights, but it doesn't come up when I run start.jnlp.

I purchased an ISY994i several years ago and never got around to setting it up until now. When I plug it into my network I get network connectivity LEDs next to the RJ-45 connector but the red LED on the front flashes indicating ERROR. I plugged the MicroSD into my desktop computer and it reads OK. What else could be my problem?
