    Any body ave any idea how to recieve a critical warning message for e.g. a light bulb blew, this will send the user a message that the light buld is gone.

    Hello all I am just wondering about home automation and the possibilities of it i have have look in abit of X10 but i'm wondering if ye can help me. i am doing a project about home automation and is it ethical to have it installed in the house. the research i have done is ok but i would like to get into more detail like how the user connects to the device remotely eg he or she wants to connect via the web or iphone to connect to the bedroom light or a socket in the kitchen. is it possible to get a warning message to your phone or an email message to say that one of your devices is broken or the light is blown. aslo is if possible to view a electrice meter online of your house so that you show how much energy is been used when you are away.
