  1. I believe they're all Insteon but there may be an X10 somewhere I'll have to double-check. Which I'll have to do anyways if or when I factory reset them to move them over to EISY. I got back in, not sure how, so now the journey begins. We don't have too many devices (maybe 30?, didn't count, all of them are A/C powered) as we're using this only in our townhouse, no outside and not everything is on ISY, quite a few plugs and switches are normal. What I'm saying is, going through all of them and factory reset is doable and it should not take too much time. Appreciate your replies!
  2. Yeah, I figured - internet dinosaur here - hahahaha. I'm back in the ISY but now I'll be looking into EISY for sure. Thank you.
  3. Thank you for that link. I'll be doing a lot of reading. Now that I'm back in, I'm on my way to the newer and newest versions of our Smarthome. Appreciate you talking the time to help me.
  4. Yup, Java security browser is turned on and the icon is there, it opened but just wouldn't see the ISY. Thank you.
  5. Morning Magic! Who would have thought... today before doing anything else and switching hardware to the 994 and trying things that way I cleared the Java cache for the umpteenth time, started admin.jnlp and - it worked. Got my old credentials and - I'm in!! Woohoooo ☺️ No idea why it worked now vs not working yesterday afternoon, on my side nothing had changed. First thing I did was a back up and now I'll be going through all the devices, there seem to be a few communication issues but that's - hopefully - fixable. Or I'll remove them, factory reset them and add them new. We'll see. There's going to be a lot of fiddling in the near future. And then we'll move on to newer techs. And will likely be back with a whole host of new questions. Thank you so much for your help, guys!
  6. Yeah, I know - we really should have looked at it earlier. The thing is that the 99i did work with the ISY994 console and I really wanted to get the current data downloaded. The Iox Launcher doesn't find it either. If I were to start completely new with an EISY, how does that work with the data currently... 'in our house'? i.e. in the switches etc.? Will that have to be cleared, somehow? Thank you!
  7. Yes, sorry, my typo - I did use unencrypted just http protocol but no luck. http://xxx.xxx.x.xx/admin.jnlp doesn't work either. But I know that it's the one we used previously even though we have a 99i and the admin console says ISY994. I just don't understand why it doesn't connect even though I can see it in the router, I can ping it through command prompt - no issues. Thanks for trying!
  8. We started our ISY journey over ten years ago (have zipped back up from 2013) with a 99i PRO (+ PLM 2412) for our lighting set up with scenes, if/when etc. With all the new options available and, of course, the 99i being outdated we wanted to update and upgrade but get a fresh back up first since all the lighting scenes are still working. Everything but the 99i, or so we thought. Turns out the power supply to it, despite the LED light on, didn't power the 99i. Hooked up a new PSU and now the 99i is lighting up again too and I can see it in our router (Nighthawk R8000P). But - we haven't logged into our ISY for six, seven years i.e. several computers ago... I have now downloaded the admin.jnlp and also the start.jnlp. They start but they don't find the 99i and I cannot add it manually using its IP address/URL (https://xxx.xxx.x.xx/desc) to either one of them, it results in "not found". Is there anything else I can try to get the 99i added to the admin console to see and back up or fiddle with current programming, get things in order before updating? If not, I bought a 994 (+ PLM 2413S) on Ebay. I searched and read a lot here on the forum but it is probably so old that it is buried - is there a "migrate from 99i to 994i" guide somewhere? Or is it as easy as swapping the devices? Will the 994i see and load the old scenes? Or would I be able and need to load the 2013 (99i) back up into the 994i? Your feedback and help is really appreciated. I'd like us to get back on track after letting things run their course for so long without meddling but - they worked, so - yeah... Thank you!
