Nick, How did you set your EZ up? Are you using a program? Kelly
-
Michel, Are you sure you have the "Add Sensor to EZSnSRF right? Everything works fine until Step 5. Once I do that the EZSnSRF goes back into sensor detection mode. Nick, how are you linking your sensor? Thanks, Kelly

Nothing comes up.
-
I'm happy to do that, just tell me how. Kelly
-
Nope, it was a brand new scene.
-
BTW, does anyone know how many IR-3000's you can use with one EZSnsRF Receivers?
-
I finally got it working, but instead of using a SCENE I had to use a PROGRAM. Now, whenever the IR-3000 detects motion it turns on (2) outside and (1) inside light and sends a text message to my cell phone. The only problem I'm having now is I'm getting (2-3) text message alerts, even though I only requsted (1). I checked my text message configuration and my cell phone was only listed once, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Why is this happening?

Michel, Just wanted to let you know that the link to your store is not working. Kelly

Okay, I finally got the EZSndRF to report it's current state. Basically, if you activate the sensor the state changes to ON, but then immediate changes back to OFF. How can I set this up so it activates my front porch lights controlled by an Insteon switch? By the way, I just upgraded my ISY-26 to Firmware v2.7.6. Thanks for taking the security off the download Michel.

I'm trying to setup an Insteon EZSnsRF Wireless Receiver with a Dakota IR-3000 Wireless PIR Sensor and I can't get it to work. I went through the Universal Devices linking instructions and apparently the two devices are connected, but when I added the EZSnsRF to a scene it was automatically added as a RESPONDER, not a CONTROLLER. Also, MY-ISY will not show the state of the device. Basically, all I want to do is have the Dakota IR-3000 activate the EZSnsRF so that it activates my front porch lights, which are controlled by an Insteon switch. BTW, the labels on the back of the EZSnsRF underneath of the Insteon code says 2607Rev 1.3 FIRM 52. I'm also using these devices with an ISY-26 with v2.7 firmware. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Kelly

I've owned an ISY-26 for some time now and, in my humble opinion, it works great! As an ISY-26 owner, what are the biggest reasons I should consider upgrading to an ISY-99i? Also, how long is the warranty length on both devices? Thanks, Kelly

Is there a special price to upgrade from an ISY26 to an ISY99?

How can I make the KeyPadLinc status lights indicate the actual status (on/off) of the device?
-
Thanks Michel. I was able to resurrect the new one earlier this morning. Not sure why it was acting up. Kelly

Steve, Did you ever get this to work? I'm having similar problems with a SwitchLinc Dimmer. I replaced one last night, but I'm having problems with the new SwitchLinc as well. Kelly

I'm curious to see how others have used the ISY-26 to solve some of their home automation problems. Please share your proudest accomplishments.

Michel, Thanks for your help tonight. Everyone was right—you are the man. I've never had any company provide the level of service you offer. The new beta is functioning great! The only problems I've experienced so far are user errors. Keep up the great work! Thanks, Kelly

How long should Linking Devices take to complete, assuming that I only have 12 devices with simple instructions? Also, why isn't there a progress bar or icon or is that what the "system busy" type means?
-
Thanks Michel. I seem to be having quite a bit of difficulty linking devices, especially KeypadLincs. Any suggestions?
-
What about LampLincs?
-
I really hope this is not the case, but I read somewhere that in order to link all of my Insteon devices, I have to physically press the button on each device. While that's fine for all of my interior devices, I have four In-LineLincs that are hardwired into my lamppost and three flood lights. All of these are difficult to access. HouseLinc was able to find these devices. Why can't the ISY-26? Please tell me I'm doing something wrong and won't have to break out my ladder and tool belt. Thanks, Kelly
