  1. I just received this email below from Amazon. I hope UD is updating their skill for Alexa before this as I have over 200 Insteon devices that I rely on Alexa to control with voice commands. I am going to be very disappointed if my thousands of dollars spent no longer works the way I intended them too. Can we get an update from the folks at Universal Devices please? Dave Green   Hello, We're reaching out to let you know about changes to how Alexa works with Universal Devices, Inc. devices that connect to Alexa using the ISY Optimized for Smart Home V2 Skill. While no immediate action is required from you, we want to proactively make you aware of this change. The ISY Optimized for Smart Home V2 Skill hasn't been updated by its developer to support all of Alexa’s existing and new functionality. As a result, the Universal Devices, Inc. devices you have connected using this Alexa Skill will stop working with Alexa voice requests, Routines, or the Alexa app on November 4, 2025. We understand how important a reliable smart home experience is. To find products that continue to support Alexa’s growing capabilities, latest features, and best voice control experience, look for Works with Alexa certified devices available on Amazon. Thank you for making Alexa part of your home. Sincerely, The Alexa team

  3. Thanks so much for your time! I figured out that I put in what I thought was the user name. It worked logging in from the web but it was actually my email address that it needed. Appreciate your assistance. Dave
  4. I noticed upon further investigation that to use this you need: Requirements Here are the python modules required to use this node server: requests jsonpath-ng Being a complete newbie I don't really know what this means. If anyone could help explain how to do this I would be extremely grateful! Dave
  5. I have input the IP address of my envisalink and tested with the web logon as well as with fing program. Pinged the IP with perfect results. I have used the correct password (tested with web logon as well). I have also put in the correct user code. Is there anything I may have missed. Have tried numerous times and still nothing. Thanks in advance for your time! Dave
  6. Hi, Please excuse my ignorance as I am a total newbie to the eisy, polyglot V3 and adding nodes. I think I have setup acurite and added my acurite user name and password. I cannot figure out if I have to add my acurite devices or if they should just show up. I would like to thank the developer for taking the time to create this. If anyone could let me know what I should do now to move forward it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time, Dave
