So, *that's* what I was doing wrong Given I was just running tests at night, didn't want to have flashing lights and I was measuring the on/off state with a volt-meter (i.e. send "on", measure voltage across the pins)... how embarrassing I tried with a CFL, and it actually works, so I'm good to go Thanks for the incredibly quick answer (on Easter Sunday, no less). I have just started playing with an ISY-26, and everything is working fine. I have been able to add the existing devices and read their links, added a couple of scenes, wrote a few programs. So far, so good. I then added two LampLinc to use as a occupancy simulator when I'm on vacation. I wrote a couple of program to randomly turn lights on and off at night. So far, so good. I am having a communication error with the 2 LampLinc I just added. I can see them from the main console, but if I try to turn on or off any of them, I get a "Cannot communicate with xxxx". The weird thing is that the lamp turns on and off properly. And I can query the LampLinc and get the real status back. The LampLincs are pretty old (v24 and v28), but I have another which is working just fine. I even tried using the non-communicating LampLinc in the same outlet as the working one, with no difference in behavior) What am i doing wrong? Thanks, Rob
