  1. Wednesday, August 13, 2025 1:49 PM I was curious to see if anyone has had any success completely setting up a Tapo L535E Matter-certified smart color lightbulb. I am able to add the bulb to the EISY via the UD Mobile app “add a matter device" and it adds successfully, but I do not have the options of changing colors on the administrative console; it acts just like a white bulb, with only on/off and brightness adjustments. If I remove it from the EISY (via the plug-in) and add it to the Tapo app, I am able to control the color, etc. on the Tapo app, and while the Kasa-beta plug-in recognizes the bulb, The EISY console then also only allows control of brightness, on/off, but no color control. Has anybody has anybody had any experience or success with this?
  2. I have also installed with same issue of no clear way to add device. No option for this on UDMobile either.
  3. Talk about a timely release! Thanks very much for the update.
  4. Hopefully. I bought a couple of TAPO wireless dimmer switches, but these connect through a TAPO hub and the TAPO hub doesn’t seem to be supported by even the beta version of the Kasa plug-in or through IFTTT. There is probably some sort of work around but the TAPO hub instructions indicate it could be added to "Matter compatible ecosystems", so I was hoping to be able to utilize this. Thanks for the suggestions.
  5. That is interesting. I do not recall making a formal request, but I did have a support ticket on an unrelated item about a week ago and I believe Michel did upgrade some files. I wonder if these (14.1/5.9.1) were installed before they were to be released in a general update package. I hadn’t tried to add a Matter device until today, so I probably would not have noticed if the Matter drop-down menu was there or if there was an option to turn on Matter support in the configuration tab. I may just give things another week or so but happy to hear if anyone has more success.
  6. UD Mobile was actually the first thing I tried (based on the instructional video for adding Matter devices) but this also lacks an option of adding a Matter device. I don’t have the same screens come up as on the instructional video. My UD Mobile version is 1.1.88 and I always thought this just updated either automatically or when you synchronized. My iOS is version 5.9.1. Sorry...IoX, not iOS
  7. Is full Matter support available yet? I just upgrade packages, rebooted, etc. and I now have OS 14.1 as well as the option for Matter support that can be successfully activated on the configuration panel. I do not see a way to actually add a matter device and in the matter menu drop-down list, there are only options for "synchronize, network capture, log, and x-ray". Is there something else that needs to be done or has the full support of matter devices not yet been implemented?

  9. I am successfully running the Kasa 3.1.4 plug-in on an EISY (29 nodes) without problems but I recently purchased some EP25 Kasa plugs and was trying to install the plug-in beta version to see if I could get these to work. I tried to install it to a new slot. When I try to install the version 3.2.2, it stated that my trial period has expired and when I try to install the version 3.2.1, it shows up as “disconnected“. It looks as if it cannot locate certain modules. I have attached the log package, but please let me know if you need any other information. Kasa_12-13-2024_122055_PM.zip
