  1. Here is the program that I want to use to have the lights, when turned on, be at 50%. It works from the ISY but not from the switch. if From 8:00 pm For 7 hours Then In Scene 'Kitchen Lights' Set 'Kitchen Lights 1' 50% (on level) In Scene 'Kitchen Lights' Set 'Kitchen Lights 2' 50% (on level) else In Scene 'Kitchen Lights' Set 'Kitchen Lights 1' 100% (on level) In Scene 'Kitchen Lights' Set 'Kitchen Lights 2' 100% (on level) Kitchen Lights 1 and 2 are the two switches that control the lights. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks, Bill
  2. I am pretty sure that the KPL is version 4.1. I'll have to double check. If so, I assume that I should remove it and re-add it and I am guessing there is a post on there somewhere. I'll look for it. Thanks, Bill
  3. Thanks for the info, I understand the concept but not the implementation. Does anyone have an example of how this is set up? I'll post some screenshots of my configuration tonight. This is how I believe the scene is set up: Fan - High (Scene) Controller (Fan high button) Responders: Fan Motor - level high Fan off button - level 0 Fan low button - level 0 Fan medium button - level 0 Fan high - level 100 Does that look correct?
  4. Hey all, I need some help with what I think is a basic problem. I've set up some Insteon switches for my lights and a KeypadLink for my ceiling fan. I have two specific things that I am trying to do that don't seem to be working correctly; Set up the KeypadLink for the fan correctly and set a program to dim the lights at night for the kitchen. First, for the fan. I read the configuration post for KeypadLinks and fans. I set up a scene for each of the fan speeds (off, low, medium and high) and set all of the buttons controlling those as responders to each scene (with the appropriate led level for each button/scene combination). This all works perfectly from the ISY console when I turn on the scene, however now when I press one of the four center buttons on the actual keypad all of the buttons light up. It seems like the physical buttons are not invoking the scene in the same was as the console does. For the kitchen lights I set up a program to adjust the on-levels of the lights in the kitchen scene from 10 pm to 6 am. Again, during that time period the program works correctly when controlling the scene from the ISY, however when I turn on the lights using the actual switch they still come on at full brightness. This too seems like the physical switch is not invoking the scene correctly. Since these seem to be a common problem I was hoping someone would be able to point out what I am missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bill
