Insteon Some on All off
So follow on question: there's a delay when I do this with an EISY program vs being part of the scene. Is there a way to eliminate the delay? It does not seem to be the "ramp" delay of the keypad. i.e. it behaves the same no matter what I set as "ramp rate" on the keypad. So I push on, light on keypad goes to on immedately, then there's an approximately .5 second delay and the green led at the bottom of the keypad flashes, and then the program executes the "scene on" command.

Insteon Some on All off
Ok, sorry. "Control x is On" translates to "is switched on" Now it works. Thanks!

Insteon Some on All off
Well, I don't know how to get the Admin Console to do 'Basement / BSMT Stair' is switched Off I only see "status is" Not sure what selections to use which would result in "is switched off" I have "sechedule" "condition" "action" and "comment" and none have "is switched off"

Insteon Some on All off
I have several places where I want the "on" command to switch on only some of the lights, but the "off" command to switch off ALL the lights. EG I have a basement with a workroom and a playroom. I want the basement keypad "on" to turn on the playroom only, but when if I turn on the workroom light manually, I want the keypad "off" command to turn off the playroom AND workroom. I can't seem to get this to work with "scenes" I can get it to work if I add individual "workroom light 1 off" and "workroom light 2 off" in a program, but not if I create 2 scenes. "playroom" and "all basement" set the keypad to control playroom and write a program that says "keypad Status is Off then "set all basement off" Why does this not work?

How to run a program only when icon pressed on faves
Yeah, to the extent I have any issues they’re related to some old x10 devices that are flakey which I plan to replace with Insteon. Home Assistant seems very solid. I’m running it in a VBox VM in Windows and it allows me to integrate eisy with Nest and various tvs and stereo and ONVIF cameras and to control it all with Siri. Still working to bring the onvif cams into apple home…

How to run a program only when icon pressed on faves
FWIW, I've decided to use Apple HomeKit / Siri for UI. I installed Home Assistant and bridged to HomeKit, but this works pretty well (though still new) and the UI in Apple Home is very simple and customizable so family can use.

How to run a program only when icon pressed on faves
Yes, that works. Thanks. Now I'd like this same favorite icon to show the status of the scenes it controls. e.g. I have scene1 and scene2. program says if scene1 is on or scene2 is on then set scene1 off, set scene2 off else, set scene1 on; set scene2 on. Now I want this program to show the state (scene1 or scene2). Do I use a variable for this? How do I link the variable to the favorite icon so that it shows the variable state? Thanks again for your help!!

I want a program to only run when I tap it's icon on the favorites menu. How do I set this up? Do I need a variable? Thanks for the help...

PLM not seeing X10 off commands
Last on this: I had happened to have one of these lying around: https://www.x10.com/products/xpnr?_pos=4&_sid=41e7767a8&_ss=r I plugged it in-line with the fixture. Problem gone.

PLM not seeing X10 off commands
Ok, when I disconnect that LED module everything works. the PLM gets all the X10 commands. The light in question is one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D7Q1Z2RJ Any ideas on how to stop the interference? Also why is the interference affecting the PLM, but not the X10 lights or wifi controller? [edit] the same circuit has several other LED light modules and those being on do not cause any interference.

PLM not seeing X10 off commands
The one switch is an Insteon 2477D. Resetting the switch made no difference. That switch controls LED recessed modules, but there is one LED module on that switch that I don't have anywhere else in the home. I'll try disconnecting that module. [edit] To answer the other questions: when that switch is on, the viewer doesn't show X10 commands (either on or off).

PLM not seeing X10 off commands
OK, more info. I disabled all the EISY programs. I've narrowed this down to a single switch in the scene. If that switch is on, the PLM doesn't see X10 commands. If I turn that switch off from the console, the PLM sees all the commands. !?!? What could that switch be doing? I'll try to reset the switch and report back.

PLM not seeing X10 off commands
The X10 wifi sees the command. FWIW, I have the EISY set with a "scene" called "basement" which has some new Insteon switches I added to the basement. All the other basement switches are X10. When I press "on" on the x10 keypad, I have a EISY program which turns "Basement" on. If I go in and turn "Basement" off with the EISY console, the event log then shows when I press X10 off. But it seems lost when the Basement scene is on.

PLM not seeing X10 off commands
No all the X10 are plugged in. The PLM receives the ON command from all sources, but ignores the OFF command from all sources. i.e. the X10 keypad is a wall mounted keypad connected to power line. Press ON on the keypad, PLM sees it. Press OFF on the SAME keypad PLM ignores it. That happens with the X10 wifi interface too, etc.

PLM not seeing X10 off commands
I have an Insteon USB PLM (71.1c.1 v9E). It seems not to recognize X10 off commands. I think this is a recent issue since adding some new Insteon switches. I have a program set to run from an X10 off received and this program never runs, and X10 off commands very rarely show up in the log. X10 on commands get responded and recorded in the log 100%. I have 3 different x10 transmitters: 1 an in-wall pad, 2. an X10 wifi module 3. an old X10 desktop controller. All behave the same: on command received; off command not seen by PLM but it is seen by the X10 devices and by the X10 wifi module. IOW press A1-off on in-wall or desktop, X10 lights turn off, X10 wifi shows X10-off received, but PLM sees nothing. Note that the area I'm trying to control has both X10 and Insteon devices, and I want the X10 keypad to turn on both the X10 and Insteon, so I wrote a simple program which works to turn all both sets of lights on, but only the X10 devices respond to the X10 off command. Any ideas would be appreciated. (i've already thought of replacing all the X10 devices with Insteon, but this would be expensive and a lot of work)
