  1. Thank you for the recommendations, I will ensure that I give them all a try. In general the ISY products are excellent, but it is annoying when they have problems because all of my automated items go haywire, and when they do break they are expensive to replace or upgrade. It would be nice if they were modular so upgrades and repairs weren't so expensive, but I understand that you get what you pay for. Thanks again, John
  2. thanks for the recommendations. I've plugged it into an UPS to see if that helps. I had two ISY-26s and one ISY-99i units that crapped out so this is my second ISY-99i. Hopefully it's not bad. How long do they normally last. All of my units have been plugged in to good Panamax surge protectors, so I don't understand why they go bad so often. Hopefully the UPS fixes the problem. So there is no internal battery that keeps the settings? thanks again, John
  3. My ISY-99i keeps losing it's location and time settings even though it's set to update it's time through a NTP time server. My settings get lost on a weekly basis even though the unit is continually plugged in to an AC outlet. Of course this throws off all times since the location and time defaults to the West Coast and I live on the east Coast. This is getting annoying. IS there an internal battery inside that can go bad? My unit is outside of it's warranty period. so if there is a battery, is it user replaceable? If not, what is the cost to have the battery replaced? Thanks in Advance! John
