Will try adding devices under 2.5 again BTW remote "upgrading" back to 2.4 worked ! Smile Despite 10+ tries remote upgrade from 2.4 to 2.5 did not work Was upgrade function within 2.5 improved?

Reverted back to 2.4 and can add devices again. Linking Most of the time was unable to link with 2.4, never worked with 2.5. I may have a noisy system - 60 devices, no filterlincs and several low voltage devices. Turned off low voltage devices where possible and still no linking. Switched controlled low voltage was switched off - no change in behavior under 2.5

not using McAfee, Windows firewall turned off Using Sophos for antivirus and IPCOP (smoothwall variant) routers Onsite update worked just fine

Cannot upgrade remotely All other functions work fine remotely freezes at 7-9% with a: "javaio.IOExceptions An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine " error Using Highspeed cable @ 1.5 mb/second or better Tried both VPN and port forwarding. Have used both methods before to this site with no problem Tried at 4 pm and 3 AM to make sure network load was not an issue. Remote upgrades are very important for me as a dealer /Installer
