Problem solved. The problem was the pool pump. I changed the "OFF" time of the chlorine generator and the Switchlink a few minutes past the "OFF" time of the pump. Everything is now working. The pump motor is the source of the noise in the line. I have ordered a line filter wich I will install at the pump.
I used a ligh bulb to replace the Chlorine Generator and the results are the same. The light went ON but not OFF. I also found that a switchlink is having the same problem. It turns ON but not OFF. I'm not sure how I could use a FilterLinc with the Switchlink. I'm open to all suggestions.
Here's what I have.
If
On Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri
From 9:00:00PM
To 5:00:00AM (next day)
Then
Set 'Insteon Wall Outlet' On
Else
Set 'Insteon Wall Outlet' Off
I'm having a problem with a program to turn ON and OFF the Cl2 generation at various times. I'm on a "Time Of Use" program with the electric co. The ISY turns the generator ON but does not turn it OFF at the scheduled time. The schedule is for weekdays. I want the generator to turn ON at 9:00PM and OFF at 5:00AM next day. Can anyone solve my problem?
I was finally able to enable internet access but cannot access the ISY. I have a Qwest modem and a Linksys router in series and I suspect this is the problem. How do I port forward with this setup?
Hello Michel-
I haven't made any changes to a port. It is listed as 443. Now I cannot access the port using the IP address received from Whatismy ipaddress. Is it possible that the Qwest modem, which is in series with the Linksys router is the problem? Even though the modem has only one RJ-45 outlet should I consider plugging in a one to two RJ-45 splitter and plug the ISY directly into the modem? I doubt that I could access the ISY using that configuration. The IP address I used is the address for the modem not the router.

My ISY is connected to a Linksys router which in turn is connected to a Qwest Broadbank modem. When I request a Self Signed certificate the IP address that pops up is a local one. I went to the websites listed in the procedure and foun the IP for the Qwest modem. I entered that and the reboot messsage came up. How do I verify that all is correct as far as the IP address is concerned and that I can access through the internet?
Thanks for all your help guys. Everything OK now. Checking the PLM status was the key. My CAT5 cable was the problem. Changed it and everything is up and running. Thanks again.
I am mainly getting "Request Denied", "Failed enabling internet access" and "Request Failed". My flash drive failed so I don't have a ISY backup. How do I get back to square one and start over from scratch? Also is it possible to change the font size and page color for the console? Does doing a factory reset put the ISY back to the original IP and etc.? I did one but the IP didn't change.
Due to a power outage, I lost the Administrative Console programming. Now when I enter the program folder "if" schedule I cannot access the "Then" Action. All I get are the "if" part and error messages. I did a factory reset on the ISY-99i but that didn't help. How do I erase the console and start over from scratch?
