Thanks for your reply Paul. For no particular reason, I have one incandescent and one compact fluorescent in the garage. I removed both of those and tested multiple times with (unfortunately) same exact results. Without fail the Switchlinc responded appropriately to the ON signal, it's the off that is the problem.....which is bizarre.

I have an 8-button KeypadLinc in the mud room that was acting goofy (buttons and ceiling light connected to it were intermittently flashing), so I replaced it after all attempts to troubleshoot the issue failed. All is working well with the new device except for one small issue I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction on. I have button B in a scene with the garage lights' Switchlinc - it is my desire to control these lights via the KPL button and have it reflect the lights' status. I'm seeing inconsistent behavior with it and wondering if I set it up correctly. Typically a press of the button turns on the lights and illuminates the KPL button; however, a second press only extinguishes the KPL button and NOT the garage lights.....additional button presses eventually will turn off the lights. I have the KPL button and the Switchlinc in a scene together and have the button as a controller and responder to that scene. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and I'm happy to provide additional details if needed. Thanks, Joe

With incandescent bulbs in the closet, it appears all is back to normal. I really appreciate this forum and the contributions you guys make to assisting the less knowledgeable!

Is this as it should be based on my program? So the Off command was sent but not received? What would have caused this? My wife was woken up by the light (she's been hating on this stuff lately) and then woke me up to point it out, so no one manually changed the button.

My setup has been working reliably for quite some time and I made no changes to it prior to my problems; however, I'm (obviously) a novice when it comes to this stuff and won't be surprised to hear I botched something up....I still struggle to wrap my head around the controllers and responders. I was hoping to get some troubleshooting advice on the following symptoms, all of which are happening in my master bedroom. I tried resetting the switchlinc, with negative results. I'm guessing all issues are related based on timing and location. 1. Motion sensor program turns walk-in closet lights (switchlinc) on, but but for unknown reason stopped turning them off 2. Nightstand lamp plugged into dual-band lamplinc turns on at 3AM on random days (not pleasant way to wake) 3. UD Admin Console shows that it is unable to communicate with the aforementioned switchlinc Thanks, Joe

Thanks Lee, that pretty much did the trick. I have to manually turn off the keypad button next time I'm in that room, but otherwise what you suggested did exactly what I wanted.

I have a coffee maker plugged into an ApplianceLinc and I’d like to use one KPL button (“Câ€) to instantly start the coffee and another (“Dâ€) to delay the start of coffee by 20 minutes. Despite turning the switch off on the coffee maker itself once the pot is empty, I also wanted the ApplianceLinc to power off after 30 minutes as an extra layer of precaution and also shut off the relevant KPL button LED. Initially, I setup the “C†button into a scene (Coffee Now) with the ApplianceLinc and all was well. When I attempted to setup the second scene (Coffee Delay) with the ApplianceLinc and the “D†button using the wait command in the on program; however, it did not wait and powered on instantly. I also tried putting both KPL buttons into one scene (as controllers), but that didn''t work either. Is what I’m trying to do possible? The challenge of figuring this out on my own has passed and I'd really appreciate some help. Thanks! Joe
