Thanks Michel, I have tried that. I went ahead and replaced one KPL with a dimmer and it works fine. It's odd that more than one KPL is doing the same thing and started at the same time. I now have 4 KPL's working fine and around 4 or 5 in a box that are all seemingly bad. Thanks again.

I'm having problems with some of my KPL's. A couple of them just blink (all buttons) when I push a button, and no longer turns on the light it is plugged into. Then you can hear them "clicking". I also have some lights & dimmers that blink, or shimmer, when we push other switches in the house. I noticed a switch that blinked last night, then when i tapped the dimmer next to it on and off, the led's on the dimmer would blink. Then later, the dimmer's LED's locked "on", but the lights are not on. It feels like these things are related, but not sure. Here are a few things notes on the system: I have Insteon in 3 buildings (Main panel is in the house, then two sub panels run from there). Only one light has been a problem - all others have previously worked perfectly and instantly. In the last 6 months or so, I've noticed delays in responses. I recently added 4 Insteon LED programmable light bulbs. I recently added some new lighting fixtures with decorative retro "Edison" light bulbs. Wow Lee G, I'm not sure how you knew, but Network Resources ID 1 was blank. I don't have the correct code for it, so I simply duplicated another and pasted it, and that allowed me to back-up. Thanks. I am unable to find documentation on the 4 tap set button test. I found initial set-up using 4 presses, but nothing describing how to do the test. The manual does not have that. Can you please point me in the direction? And BTW Michel, thanks for the high-level of support and a great product!

I am trying to back-up system but it stops at the same point and I get the same message: Could Not Retrieve File CONF/NET/1.RES I recently added the Onkyo network codes into network resources. Not sure if related. Also resently been having issues with some lights not responding consistently and keypads blinking and not working, then working. Again, not sure if it's related or not... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Lee G! It turns out that I had the ELK RP software open on another computer, which kept me from accessing ISY (at least at some level). It doesn't explain why I have not been able to see the device while it continued to work in my scene. But I was able to add device. It stopped working in the scene as soon as I added device, so I added it into scene and we're all fine. It did not appear in the tree by name or address. I think the only thing that happened was that I updated the ISY to new firmware. I was then was having difficulty syncing the lighting with my ELK, so I re-exported everything from ISY. That's probably the time it disappeared. Thanks again.

I have a 2476D 600W dimmer that I am unable to see in My Lighting, but it still works in a scene. I am also unable to add the device. I have ISY99 Pro and ELK M1 Gold system. Have you seen this problem? Any suggestions?

This problem persists. I think my only option at this point is to replace and trash this unit unfortunately.

Yes, very big bummer. Seems like if Elk and ISY are integrated, this would be as easy as anything. But I'm not a programmer...

Can ISY IR control/activate voice announcements from ELK M1G. I'd like to press remote button and hear outdoor temp or status of specific zone, but can't figure out a way.

I have an ELK M1G and Insteon system. I'd like to add pool salt system and automate pool functions, but all posts and suggestions are years old. I'd like to: 1. Monitor temperature via iPad, computer, Elk system 2. Monitor Chlorine levels 3. Control Salt System remotely 4. Turn filter on remotely Does anybody have any wisdom or advice in this area? I can't figure out which salt system is good or how to get water temperature into system (we do have room and outdoor temps already in system). Any feedback or suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Dean

Thanks LeeG. It worked perfectly prior to Elk M1G. I initially set a test rule in the Elk to have these lights turn on for a couple of minutes when motion was detected, then turn off. I think it has to be related to that. It appears all of the activity went away when i covered motion sensor and they never turned back on. Perhaps you never saw the command from Elk? Has anyone else seen this or familiar with Elk?

FYI, I manually turned the switch on, but it turned itself off.

It is possible it was part of a 3-way packaged purchase, but not sure. I know I purchased one once. It was working fine prior to installing Elk and changing this to control different lighting. I think all of this activity is related to the Elk motion detector. That was the only thing changing. FYI, when we put in the Elk M1G, i programmed a Test Rule in the Elk to turn these lights on and off when motion was detected (just to see if it would work). I later deleted that Rule.

Thanks Lee. On and off now work. However, lights still turn off after a while. once they stayed off and once they went back on. i used to have a test program with the nearby motion sensor theough elk 1. maybe it's connected? they just turned off and ramped back on again, then turned off.

The lights eventually turned on. I turned them off and they are turning off. probably at a 2 minute rate. I will try to change settings a few times again and see if any results.

Thanks fitz. it went through the process and now when i turn it on, it shows current status at new setting (62% and ramp rate at 21.5 sec.).

It currently shows 0.1 sec ramp rate and 100% on level. I wonder if an old program could be hidden or still operating in background from either my ELK M1 or ISY?

I'm still having problems. It has at times gone through the dim cycle, but the odd issue is that the lights do not turn on or off, unless i double tap. has anyone had this problem?

I turned my breaker off and back on and it appears to have fixed it. Strange. Hopefully it's fixed. Thanks for your help apostolakisl, LeeG, and Wolf!

I have a 2476d Switchlinc Dimmer that after I turn it on (whether regular on or fast on), dims slowly off and on and off and on repeatedly. I also have an ISY-99i Pro and an ELK M1 Gold. I've removed the switch from all programs on both ISY and ELK. I've also manually Factpry reset switch. Nothing seems to help. Has anybody had this problem?
