  1. First: background About a year ago, updated ISY994i to 5.0.19. It seemed to work fine afterwards. Haven't been into the admin console since. Using Chrome on a windows 10 computer. Then started using Kaspersky antivirus. A few months ago I changed routers, now using a Google nest Router instead of the router from IP service. This week I decided to go back into the admin console and am having what seems to be numerous problems but they may be all related. First, to get the ISY to show in the Finder, I have to unplug/replug the ISY in and it will then show up in the finder. On loading the Admin Console, I get the Following message: "Socket Open Failed java.lang.stringindexOutof BoundsException:String index out of range: 4" After cancelling out of error messages, another box comes up saying "Starting Subscription" but never finishes. Also, in The Admin Console, it says the ISY is offine. If I exit out of Admin Console, the Finder doesn't contain any ISY. If I close the Finder and double-click launcher, I get a box that says "Cannot determine a valid Java Home". Then reload finder but no ISY shows. I can always go back to unplug/replug ISY and get the ISY back in Finder. If loading the Dashboard, I still get the: "Socket Open Failed java.lang.stringindexOutof BoundsException:String index out of range: 4" However, the dashboard says the ISY is online. I've trying using the ISY set on DHCP and with a fixed IP address - same results. Any help most appreciated.
  2. Thanks for reply. I'll give that a try when I get home. Learn something knew everyday.
  3. On one of my KPLs, I hear a single chirp when any of the buttons are pressed (one chirp for each button press). The scenes associated with the buttons work. This has only been happening about a week, before that, no sound when button was pressed. Is there a way to turn the chirps off or is there something wrong that I should be looking for?
  4. Duel band lamp lincs With the same two KPLs I have scenes that combine the load from one KPL to a button on the other and those scenes work fine.
  5. Lee, No errors when making scene or adding KPL buttons. No icons beside scene indicating a problem. I double checked to make sure bith KPLs were added as controllers - they were. Press button on either KPL and light on other KPL comes on. Only one KPL is actually controlling light. I can delete scene and remake, changing which KPL button is added first and it justed changes which KPL controls the scene.
  6. Must be doing something wrong and need some basic help. Trying to create a scene using the "G" button on two 2 KPLs and a lamp linc to create a scene. I can get only one KPL to control the scene. The other KPL button lights but doesn't control. I am first creating a scene, then adding the 2 KPLs (button G on each) as controllers and a lamplinc as responder. I've tried it a couple of times and can get only one KPL to actually control the scene (first KPL added will control scene and second KPL added lights up but doesn't control scene). I've double checked to make sure both KPLs are added as controllers. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Willieneal
