Michel: Update!! I logged in remotely to the Summer ISY using https on port 443 without port forwarding in the Netgear and it worked like a charm the Current State was populated with the status so I probably didn't need to port forward 443 on the Home ISY. So far so good. Thank You, CaptFisk

Michel: I "fixed" it by generating a self signed certificate in ISY and installing it then adding the address to exceptions in Mozilla. My Primary res now works and it also works on my mobile device "android" both using https. I'll be setting up the Summer res tomorrow. Thank you for your help. CaptFisk

Michel: You lost me (that's easy) is the certificate generated by ISY or do I have to purchase a certificate.
-
Michel: I tried your suggestion at my Primary res changed the https port in ISY to 442 added the new address in the Netgear port forwarding and this is what I get. I use Mozilla "There is a problem with this website's security certificate. The security certificate presented by this website is not secure. Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server." Thanks CaptFisk

I have 2 ISY's for Primary Res and Summer home both routers are Netgear same ISP at both locations.ISY and router using latest firmware both setup using DNS no problems connecting remotely from pc or android EXCEPT for the past couple of weeks when connected remotely to the Summer home the current state is blank when connected local it's not blank. Today I connected remotely to my Primary res and the same results. What do you suggest. Thanks

Lee: Why doesn't the OFF command turn light off? Jumper 5 is on all other jumpers are removed here is the program 'm testing and the settings in the Options screen. If Control '14.5E.AF-Sensor' is switched On Then Set 'Light' On Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')Set Options Page Set Options Timeout (minutes).........1 LED Brightness...............100 Darkness Sensitivity.........128 Sensing mode: As motion is sensed (checked) Only after timeout (unchecked) this is unchecked On only mode: On/Off commands (checked) this is checked On commands only (unchecked) Night mode: Always (checked) this is checked At night only (unchecked)

Thanks for the response you have been very helpful. I made a few changes to the program and it seems to work ok, your thoughts please. If From Sunset To Sunrise - 1 hour (next day) And Control 'MS_01-Sensor-Sensor' is switched On Then Set 'LvngRmRec' Fast On Wait 3 minutes (Random) Set 'LvngRmRec' Fast Off Send Notification to 'SR' Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') EDIT: I removed all jumpers except J5 (still on both pins) and when motion was detected the light and sensor came on immediately and then the light turned off along with the sensor a few second later. Is there an adjustment to keep the light on for a few minutes. Should I put the jumpers back where they were.

Lee: The node does reflect on/off as motion is detected and the light node reflects ON when motion is detected and remains on but it is not on physically. Can I remove all jumpers except for J5. I am at the console and the node for the light is still on and the node for MS is OFF but the actual light is also off. Sorry if I confused you. EDIT: I must have blown the bulb from all the testing so I tried a different light and it came on when motion was detected but it's still on. How do I get the light to turn off after a few minutes and be ready to come back on when motion is detected. Do I need to do anything in "OPTIONS" for the MS

I have three MS2420M This is MS#2 of 3 MS#1 is setup in our Summer Home this one is in our Primary Residence I'm using the power adapter (no battery) for all and both homes have an ISY99. This is what I am trying to achieve with the MS, I want to turn on a light or scene when motion is detected AT NIGHT ONLY. I have set the jumpers per the following: Jumper 3 and 5 are on both pins Jumper 1 and 2 are on single pin and Jumper 4 is missing (I dropped it) do I need to make any adjustments to the two dials for this to work. In addition I would like to be notified by mobile or email when motion is detected. I have email and mobile setup and tested already. Here is my "test" program and what I see when motion is detected the sensor is ON but the light does not come on then sensor is OFF after a few seconds. If From Sunset To Sunrise - 1 hour (next day) And Control '14.5E.AF-Sensor' is switched On Then Set 'Loft' Fast On Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')

Please disregard previous post I found a fix (I hope) I reread the user manual and saw the section about resetting userid/password back to default but I didn't follow the instructions, when the login screen appeared I typed admin for userid and password and this worked I then set the userid and password back to what it was. I closed everything and logged in numerous times so everything looks ok. I have no idea why it "lost" the password from a power outage but now everything is back. Thanks for your help.

I'm local at the laptop and tried to login using my shortcut even tried the http://isy AND http://www.universal-devices.com/99i. I did get to the administrative screen but every time I tried to login I get "Authorization Failed" My router is a DLink DIR-655 and the ip is reserved for the ISY so it appears ok. My Lighting appears in Network and Sharing and the properties for MyLighting shows the same ip thats reserved in the router. Thanks,

I use dyndns for remote connections to MyLighting my DVR with six camera's and my laptop at our summer home all very successful until Irene caused a power failure which is restored. I have been connecting to the laptop and dvr but when I try my lighting I get the username and password prompt and then a blank screen and the username prompt appears again and again repeatedly. I logged into the laptop and tried to login to MyLighting in the Network and Sharing Center but get the same results. I can login remotely to the DVR and can see that the outdoor lights are on as scheduled but can't login to MyLighting (ISY-99ir) Thanks

You're right I meant 'Program' not 'Scene' and nothing has changed after putting the ISY and PLM on a dedicated circuit and confirmed that phasing is established. The three programs have different start/stop times no warnings no error messages no red flags. Here is the failed program. Program Content for 'FrontDoors' If From Sunset + 1 hour To Sunrise -1 hour (same day) Then Set Scene "FrontSconces" On Else Set Scene "FrontSconces" Off

None of the setup was copied from one ISY to the other. I arrived at the summer home last night and performed the following. I changed the QueryAll as suggested which is now the same as home ISY so this works correctly. I then followed the instructions in the PLM for phase bridgeing and the two dual band dimmers showed a solid white light so I continued to step 4. I then setup 3 simple Programs: Program 1 using both dual band dimmers. Program 2 using both outletlinc. Program 3 using both on/off switch. All with different start/stop conditions and the result was Program 1 didn't start Program 2 & 3 worked according to the program. I eventually started Program 1 by clicking on "start then" which ran until I clicked on "start if" to turn off. I don't have any red ! shown beside any devices or error messages. I am having an electrician install a dedicated outlet today for the PLM to see if this helps.
