  1. This may be beyond the scope of this forum but I wondered if anyone has any experience with the Sense Home Energy Monitor in their smart home?

Well I just found the delete menu. Whew!

Well I'm throwing in the towel on this switch. It is an older 2476 anyway. I am pulling a working 2477 dimmer, replacing it with a new 2477 on/off switch and then I'll move the working dimmer switch to replace the no longer fully working 2476. But I can't see where in the admin console I can delete a defined device. I must be blind but can someone point me to that please?

Here’s another data point on this. I have a motion sensor on my front door that turns on this switch I’m having trouble with when it senses motion near our front door. And this still works! Does that make any sense? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I did try those things but I’ll keep trying for a while. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Thanks for all the great ideas but it looks like the ISY communications is dead. Boo. These switches are not cheap. I will have to replace it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Does it matter if it works manually? Can it still be dead from an ISY perspective? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

The switch has worked fine until just recently. I guess that means the switch died. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

What does it mean in admin panel if a dimmer switch has a red ! In front of it? Is the switch dead? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks. Not worried about no visual aspect. No little kids here and I only intend to use it if I do it at all to check to be sure the door is shut later at night.
  11. The program I have to send me texts on door open and closed is in the attached screenshot. I'm still not clear on the test in the IF section. Why is the to see if the switch is on AND also if it is not off? Isn't that redundant? This works but I want to understand it so I can maybe use something similar to test the current state of my door.
  12. I have an IOLinc 2450 on my garage door. I have my ISY994i send me a text when the garage door is opened or closed. I can use my Echo to open or close the door by saying "Alexa, turn on the Garage Door". I see 2 devices in my Main tab for the garage door: Garage Door-Relay and Garage Door-Sensor. Is there a program that test to see if the door is open and if so, close it? I'm wondering if I can test Garage Door-Sensor for Off which is closed and On which is Open? Will that work?

OK I just did that and it went from ON to OFF. Hopefully that clears it up. Thanks!

It's the original MS. And I replaced it a couple days ago and am still getting the occasional low battery message from a program I have running that looks for the low battery indicator.

I was getting a low battery indicator on a motion sensor which didn’t surprise me since the motion sensor is outdoors and the battery is a year old. I changed the battery but I’m still getting the Low Battery alert. How do I reset that? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. I have MobiLinc but I can’t change programs with it I don’t believe. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Is there an IOS version of the Admin console? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Thank you!
  19. I cannot get logged into my ISY994i Admin Portal any longer on any browser rom Mac OS High Sierra. Chrome and Firefox say "Java 2+ Required" and Safari says "Unsupported Plug-in". When I look at the Java console, it says I have the latest version (Java 8 Update 181) installed. How do I log into my Admin Portal now??? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  21. Good to know. I'll send them an email and ask.
  22. Well factory reset didn't work so I replaced the switch with a spare I had. The new switch is working. Have others had the INSTEON communications part of a switch go bad but yet still have the manual operation of the switch still work?
  23. I tried restoring the device last night too which didn’t work but I didn’t do a reset on it first. I’ll try that. Thanks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. For some unknown reason, my ISY994i can no longer communicate with 1 of my INSTEON dimmer switches. It shows up in the Admin view with a red ! point and a pop up says it cannot communicate with the device. The switch works manually. I have rebooted my ISY but that didn’t fix it. Is my switch bad? Suggestions on fixing? Thanks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. Found a way around it. There is no Forget All in the Alexa app but if I logged into alexa.amazon.com, there was a Forget All on the Devices screen. Hope that helps someone else and the wiki gets updated.
