I have an Insteon 2477D dimmer switch controlling an overhead light. It is connected through my ISY and I can control it by "voice command" through Alexa. I have no problem turning on the light via the ISY or by voice command, but when I press the top part of the paddle to turn on the light it usually doesn't work. The "bottom" part of the paddle switch seems fine and will easily turn OFF the light, but when I try and turn it ON, I have to poke at it several times in several different places and often it just won't turn on.
I bought a new 2477D dimmer switch with a brown colour change kit and I was about to replace the entire switch, but I am now wondering if it might just be a problem with the paddle itself? Has anyone seen this (almost like the contacts are just not connecting when I try to press it ON"
