  1. Thx for all the assistance. I was able to find the IP address of my ISY and I am back up and running. (Still having terrible house wifi trouble with this new Rogers modem, but that is another story) Thx again.
  2. So I found the IP address of the ISY but when I check the Rogers modem it shows the IsY as not connected. I wonder if there is some conflict with this new Rogers modem and my old Ethernet switch?
  3. Looks my new one use 10.0..0.01. But now I need to try and find the IP address of the ISY which is plugged in.
  4. Thx - I am super averse to resetting the ISY - I should have a back up file but I if I can avoid resetting the ISY that would be best. Unfortunately Roger has the old modem. - Mine previously used 192.168
  5. Restarted the ISY again, this time I am back to a solid blue light but I am still getting get the ISY Not Found error and when I try and use my MobiLinc app - it says disconnected and won't connect to the ISY. Is it possible that there is some setting on the Rogers Modem that is blocking access?
  6. I have been using my ISY 99 on my existing Rogers router for several years. After having some home wifi trouble Rogers came and replaced my ignite Modem with a new modem and gave me new pods. Now my Philips Hue bridge is no longer able to connect and when I try to get in to the ISY through the my desktop it’s says ISY not found. I am now looking at my ISY and unplugged it and plugged it back in and the blue memory light and red error light are flashing. would appreciate any assistance pls. thx in advance
  7. Thx for the link. I downloaded and installed the Arm64 DMG Installer for Mac, but when I click on the My ISY Applet, I receive the same error message - Unable to locate a Java Runtime that supports Javaws - When I run the Java Installer even after "removing" and clearing the cache I am now getting an error message for Java 8 Update 431 - Failed to install Java - OS error code 1
  8. For the past 10 years or more I have been accessing my ISY 99i from my old intel based iMac and Java. I jusy got a new Mac mini and I have been trying to access the ISY but I am receiving an error message that the app won’t run because I don’t have java runtime installed. when I then try to install Java on this new Mac it says I need to install Rosetta (?) to allow me to use Java on a non Intel Mac. is there another option other / way to get this working / access to my admin console? thx
  9. I have an Insteon 2477D dimmer switch controlling an overhead light. It is connected through my ISY and I can control it by "voice command" through Alexa. I have no problem turning on the light via the ISY or by voice command, but when I press the top part of the paddle to turn on the light it usually doesn't work. The "bottom" part of the paddle switch seems fine and will easily turn OFF the light, but when I try and turn it ON, I have to poke at it several times in several different places and often it just won't turn on. I bought a new 2477D dimmer switch with a brown colour change kit and I was about to replace the entire switch, but I am now wondering if it might just be a problem with the paddle itself? Has anyone seen this (almost like the contacts are just not connecting when I try to press it ON"
  10. Thx. I will look at the connectors more closely when I get home / but I am going to assume that the fact that the LED light on the 2 access points is dark means both those units are not functioning.
  11. I am not at home right now but I believe that is how I have it set up. The ISY has 2 Ethernet ports on the back. One is plugged into the switch. The other is plugged directly into the 2413S.
  12. I wonder if the problem is with the 2 2443 access points. Each of the access points and the 2413S have an LED light. The 2413S which is hard wired to the ISY has a green lit LED. But the LED light on each of the access points, one of which is on the main floor and one upstairs is dark. Not lit.
  13. Interesting. My black box ISY is connected through an Ethernet cable downstairs in the basement and then I have 2 of the “white boxes” plugged into wall outlets upstairs and then on the second floor but they are not connected to an Ethernet cable, they are just plugged into a wall outlet
  14. My black box (ISY) is plugged into an Ethernet cable downstairs in the basement which connects to an Ethernet switch. (My router is connected in another room). It is also plugged into an Insteon Powerlinc Serial 2413S. I then have 2 Insteon Access Points 2443 plugged into wall outlets (not connected to any Ethernet, just plugged into a wall outlet - one on the main floor and one on the second floor)
  15. It seems to be working now. Re-set the ISY (unplugged it and plugged it back in) - seems to be in the list of items now. Will try and program it into a scene. Thx
