  1. Hi, I had to go out of town for work, Im back next week. For now I had to disable the program, before my wife killed me LOl. Thanks for all the feedback, I will try looking at Control rather than status for the state checking.
  2. My needs are pretty simple, turn the bathroom Fan on, if a light is on in the bathroom. I am suffering from the performance of the Zwave / ISY combination. All these switches are ZWave. Some of these switches are in Scenes to link them to each other for toggles (links) Im not able to put all the Zwave switches in a scene and query it, eg: Scene is > 0% (a light in my bathroom is on) So I had to make this program, now switching any light in this program on/off takes about 5-7 seconds for the actual light to respond and turn on/off. Ideas..
  3. Hi Michael, what about the Logitech HUB/Ultimate Remote ? I spent ages trying to get Logitec IR to talk to ISY and do simple things and gave up, I would LOVE to have my remote activities integrate with my ISY (which I love).. They have many modules now, their Insteon integration is pretty nice.. https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/compatibility Cheers
  4. I am still struggling, I opened a ticket with SCE, they re-provisioned the meter, still the ISY does not see it Im not sure what's next.. I have another call planned to SCE Monday.
  5. Ok, it's clear that SCE is stuck in the 1900's even if they have smart meters, or they just don't want you to connect to them ! After completing the online registration and accepting the terms and conditions, I waited my time, logged in, and got a device registration failure.. I call SCE, they tell me that I also need to PRINT and FAX or MAIL an terms and conditions, and my registration (that show's in my website) won't work until they receive that, process it.. and enable the meter.. wish me luck
  6. I just spoke to Edison, i think I worked it out.. Their meters are not enabled to advertise. You need to go to their website and select - Add Device, insert ":"s between the ID's in the EUID, as it bounces the EUID without the right formatting.. Select the Universal Device, acknowledge the agreement. Then wait 24 hours for them to approve the agreement (some back end manual process @ SCE) then I go back to website tomorrow, and click something else (which show's up tomorrow ) and then they provision the meter..
  7. Hi, I have my new ISY running, it's the ZS.. restored the 99i settings, got ELK integrated, all good.. But It won't see my SCE Smart Meter, I have relocated it to about 30 ft from the meter. I have enabled Polling, tried SEP and ALL Channels.. Generated a Install Code, it's Scanning, but never see's a PAN ID... Any ideas, does SCE need to do anything to make the meter it announce itself
  8. Hum, ok.. it should in theory, it's just a HTTP address (or HTTPS), my concern that could prevent this from working is the SSL Cert by default on the ISY is not from a known CA.. I was wondering if their client fails.. perhaps it does not work over SSL, and just HTTP.. Ok.. im travelling a little, good thing I have a VPN into the home , cheers !
  9. Hey Kevin, did this work externally over SSL ? It's failing for me, i wonder if iRule's going to have issues with the non-trusted certificate... thanks
  10. Kev, great Post, excellent.. Thanks for sharing with the community ! I guess it's difficult to create a generic device definition in irule for our ISY's, given the unique ID's for the internal ISY ID and the Insteon ID's for each implementation. So I got thinking, perhaps we can use the ISY REST interface and run some script/code to generate a ISY/Config specific device configuration to import into iRule. Basically hydrate up all the devices, their available commands and map the rest command to it. Now I have to remember how to write code to develop this .. Aaron
  11. Hi, long story.. but i brought a ISY PRO/IR but ended up with just a PRO. The re-seller's going to switch the hardware for me. But i have a bunch of devices, programs, etc.. Can I just switch the SD cards ?, is that the best way to take my config, eg: IP address, SSL Cert and all my programming ? What's the best way to do this ?, any suggestions ? thanks
