  1. Does your KPL not show up with separate nodes for each button in the device tree? If not, you probably have a KPL that is not supported on the latest version of software for the ISY-99, as LeeG suggested.
  2. Fantastic - any thanks!
  3. You could create a disabled (so it does not trigger on conditions, but can still be run from MobiLinc) program on your ISY that (in the 'Then' area) triggers the door opening and sends you the text. Add the program to your daughters device, with 'RunThen' of this program as a favorite (along with the status node). Restrict MobiLinc to the favorites screen, and pin protect settings to prevent changes.
  4. Its for reasons like this I have a meter - or a continuity tester - on hand during installation.
  5. I just noticed that myself. All gone.. Any chance of getting thread subscriptions back - or are we sol?
  6. I'm using chrome at the moment as well - and see all of the buttons. However, when I log out - my screen looks exactly like your screenshot. Make sure you are logged in - and make sure any no-script, cookie management or ad blocker plugin is disabled. Edited: to make sure Edit worked..
  7. Tapatalk is working now. Thanks! Strange read/unread status, but I'm sure that will work itself out.
  8. IP.board is a GREAT choice. Hopefully, the spam can be better dealt with.. My issue currently is that I cannot seem to connect Tapatalk anymore. Is this known - or an issue my end? Thanks, Michael. Edit: The posting date of your announcement is way off... showing '19 December 2012 - 01:12 PM'
  9. Interested as well. Holding off the purchase of a weather solution at the moment to see what happens with this, HAM, pwsweather etc. However, I would prefer to keep it local and not depend on an Internet connection for anything other than forecast data.
  10. Thanks @Teken! Can the GEM directly send data to SEG? If so - that will likely be my initial solution. I do prefer on premise though - so I'll look into that once the crush of work from moving is over. I think I'll eventually be going DASHbox (now that I looked again at the Brultech site I found the link) once I have the main monitor installed. As far as ISY is concerned - I'll probably wait and see what UDI do. I'm invested in zwave - and do not want to lose that functionality to add Zigbee. Given the unclear direction, I need to know if I should buy a separate Zigbee ISY - or wait until the next hardware rev and hope it has dual protocol support (and live without ISY integration of the Brultech in the mean time). If only ISY could consume the data directly over the network without needing Zigbee.... Oh well..
  11. I have to say - in my old house I had the Aeotec zwave monitor on the incoming supply. I was (as @Teken suggests) never happy with that - and wanted to get more information about individual circuits, decent trending etc. @Teken, thanks for posting what you did - both here and over at http://www.brultech.com/community/viewt ... ?f=2&t=929. I has pushed me over the edge, so to speak, and I just ordered the GreenEye Monitor from Brultech for my new house (I'll be closing on it in about 3 weeks - moving in 4 - and so will have some time I can install things like this with minimal disruption). You should get a commission! Other than the GEM and CTs (I ordered a package, with CT pack A and G initially) - do I need anything else? Is all the graph generation done on device - or did you need to hook the GEM up to a cloud service for this? Edit: Should point out that I have 1 ISY - with zwave. So no Zigbee is possible. I saw you mentioned something calls a 'DASHbox' to send data to SEG (http://smartenergygroups.com/api) - but I'm struggling to find details of this. I found this page: http://www.mypowerpanel.com/web-server/ but the 'Buy' link goes to a blank page. Thanks! Michael.
  12. $40??? Other then that, not sure... The second edition is IP44 rated. Not sure if the first is.
  13. Worth bearing in mind. Michel, can you make powering the ISY an optional feature of your PLM? Maybe a dip switch to enable it.
  14. Sign me up!!!
  15. Or separate the switch from the load, and add one of the micro dimmer modules inside the light fitting. Then you could adjust the scene based on criteria like alarm state...
  16. Its why I've kinda given up on IOLinc for garage door status... I've ordered one of these to test for my garage door: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HGVJRX2/ref ... 90_TE_dp_1
  17. Interested in this myself. Saw a post from Michel indicating that its considered 'normal' for an observation to have up to a 40 minute delay ( viewtopic.php?p=118169#p118169). I'm interested in options that report directly to HAM for minimum delay.
  18. Sorry...who is Michael? Anyone? Michel? or Michael? I'm (a) Michael - just an ISY owner and hobbyist. I think you may be looking for Michel from UDI though.
  19. Personally, I'd look for a router that supports dns-o-matic. They will then take the DNS updates and forward them to any number of ddns services - many free ones. I've had perfect service from them updating my dns.he.net zones - all at not cost - from an Asus router.

Make sure that whenever you increment the variable (or set it to 0), you also increment or set the Init value - so the sequence survives reboots....
  21. Yep.. viewtopic.php?p=117691#p117691
  22. All seems reasonable to me. Make sure you use potable water for the mister (I know some areas have a secondary non-potable supply for irrigation needs), and a check valve if code requires!
  23. Weatherbug changed their API and is no longer available to the ISY. You will need to upgrade your ISY994 to the 4.2.4 to allow the switch over to HAM Weather. If you are still using the long deprecated 99i you will need to upgrade to a 994 to get functional weather back - I know UDI is still offering their great upgrade offer.
  24. ISY or ISY PRO? Port 465 is SMTPS (SSL secured) and non-pro ISY only supports RC4 encryption. Most providers now don't support RC4 - its considered not very secure. If you are not using ISY PRO,you may need to upgrade to use encrypted SMTP. Or use a provider that does not need encryption.
  25. Wes, Thanks for checking in - I appreciate the reaffirmation to Android. I'll keep an eye on the forums - hopefully much goodness is around the corner.
