  1. Deleting it and relinking it did the trick THANK YOU !!! Dave
  2. The Java cache has to be cleared and the URL for invoking the Admin Console adjusted. IS this something I need to do or does the upgrade do it. If so how do I do it??? Dave
  3. Load is 2 halogen and 1 incandescent on a track light . yes all x-10 has been very good, however the insteon 220v heater control always turns heater on the morning and never misses.. Firm UD99 v3.3.10 (2013-01-17-01:38:06) UI UD99 v 3.2.6 (2012-05-04-00:26:24)
  4. No marks next to device listing. I just tried upgrading software to 3.3.10 so I am current. I have one access point and one booster linc which says it also acts as an access point. I never have failed commands, the system has been rock solid. 5. Clicking on the device in the tree the ramp is set to 59% , it says "set locally" I have tried just using the insteon on comand in the program thinking the ramp would work.. The program seems to ignore that ramp setting. If I set the insteon command to "fade up" it will but it goes to 100% and it seems no matter where I change to on % it ramps to 100 using that fade up command.
  6. I did both, I double clicked on the scene then ran ,diagnose, scene test, it failed in the reporting window. I also tried in a program using "scene adjust, then running the if command. I have also tried deleting the switchlinc and re-linking it. Also deleting the scene so I could both drag the switch into the scene as well as double clicking on the scene and using the "add to scene option". All of my other programs are working but they are all x-10 devices. I only have two insteon devices, a 220volt heater control (works fine) and this new switchlinc dimmer. Dave
  7. I have tried that but it will not ramp even if I adjust the ramp rate.. It will turn on and off to 50%
  8. Installed my first Switchlinc Dimmer, and linked it. I can turn the lights on and off but I want to ramp it to a set level. I tried adding the dimmer to a scene. When I test the scene it fails. I have tried with the switch as a responder and as a controller. If I select the switch from in the scene I can control it, but if I click on the scene itself and hit on/off I get nothing. I tried adding "adjust scene" to a program and set to 50% on, then ran the "if" statement but no go. Any help on how to get a program to ramp up to say 50% would be great. Dave
  9. I just did your firmware update on my ISY 99i. For some reason the location was not correct after. I like about 45 minutes directly east of Louisville Kentucky. Locate me found "shelbyville" the lat , long is about correct. When I hit ok it gives an error " invalid Long". I tried checking my GPS and getting a lat/long to enter into the fields 38.1316 85.0239 . Same error, any ideas?? Update, I found the problem but can't fix it. It is the offset from GMT. Right now we are -4, the system will not accept that, if I change it to -5 it will take it. How do I correct this? Dave G
  10. I have a Vista 20p. I use the 20 p to send an x-10 signal to the isy. You can then tell the isy to listen for the x10 signal and the run a program or function. It works just fine. The Vista 20p is still considered one of the better panels and is very capable. Mine handles hard wire and wireless as well as sending to central monitoring ( check out "nextalarm.com") it works very well and is much cheaper than adt for your monitoring. Hope this helps
  11. isy99i connected to the internet through an apple airport hub, isy plugged into UPS. The system went through a long power failure overnight and I think the UPS ran down. The system was being erratic so I tried to access it through my laptop and can not. I reset my airport hub just incase (internet is working fine). I also did a factory reset on the ISY99i. I have tried using the 10.0.1.x/admin , also the universal-devices.com/99i. I still can not see the ISY. Any help would be great!!! My whole system is down.... Thanks Dave G
  12. I get a couple of error messages. XML phrase error
  13. My internet provider gave me a fixed IP. In trying to configure my ISY I read an article that said to change my settings by unchecking DHCP an making my IP the same as my router (first 3 segments the same, change the last ) the set the gateway and DNS to the new fixed IP address. Now I can't acccess the ISY at all. I have tried typing into my browser both the fixed IP with the altered last segment, and the regular fixed IP that is in the gateway window, no luck. Does anyone know how I can get in????? Thanks Dave G
