Ok thanks guys. I'm all sorted out. I thought for a bit I could just click on a folder containing multiple programs and disable it that way but I see that you can only do it at the program level in the folder. Rick

Lots of great tips here and the suggestions by Geddy to check the Status tab for Programs and sure enough I found the programs causing the issue. I'm not sure why they are kicking in now and not before the upgrade. Is there a way that I missed to disable/enable and entire Program and not just individual actions within a program? Thanks! Rick

I upgraded my firmware for my ISY994 to version v.5.3.4 a few months ago so that I could support the UD Mobile app and since I did that there are several lights that go on every day at the same time and none of those lights have a schedule/program created to turn them on at those times of day. I cannot figure out how to stop them from turning on. Those lights are also included within scenes that are part of programs I have that turn then on and off at sunset/sunrise. The programed times are still working correctly and will turn those lights on or off at the scheduled times. Any idea how I can troubleshoot this and figure out how commands are going out to turn those lights on? Thanks, Rick

It is a 994, I'm just using that old URL which still works to bring up the web console. Any font size I use under Themes doesn't seem to have any effect. Rick

While I have seen a number of posts on this I didn't find one that had a solution for font size looking too small when using the ISY web console on Windows 10. When I launch the admin portal using https://isy.universal-devices.com/99i/ all of the text is very small regardless of how I configure the view under File/Themes/Font Size. Any ideas how to adjust the DPI to increase the relative font size? Thanks, Rick

I'm using my ISY to program an INSTEON KeyPadLinc 8 in my movie room and 1 button starts the dim the lights, another ends the show and raises the lights and those are mapped to buttons that activates a scene to start those activities. When a press a button, like Movie Time, that button lights up and the scene is activated and the lights dim. When the movie is over, I press the Show's Over button and the lights are raised but now that button and Movie Time are lit. If I press one of the lit buttons to toggle the lit button off that usually reverses the lights. Is there a way to program the buttons so an independent scene lights the button and subsequent buttons clear the previous button's state, turn off the lit button and proceed with running the scene? Thanks, Rick

Hi I have a 994i Pro and its been on heavy duty managing my Christmas lights over the last month turning them on and off based on sunset/sunrise. But I noticed that recently several of my outlets don't seem to be getting the Off command. I am using a Program and a Scene to normally control this and for example when I get up in the morning and see the outdoor lights are still on I can go to the Program in the admin console and manually run the Then condition which turns off the scene and that turns the lights off OK. The 994i console does show that the OutletLinc and Outlet plugin modules (outdoors) are showing their status as changing from On to Off but the power doesn't go off. Using the manual button on the outletlinc also works. I'm wondering if I need to do a refresh programming of all of my outlets to see if that clears it up. Its been a while since I've done that, what's the technique to refresh the programming of all my INSTEON devices? Or if there is a better way to troubleshoot repair I can try that instead. Thanks a lot, Rick

That's really good news! I found the range extender at http://www.smarthome.com/insteon-2992-222-range-extender.html Can you please point me to the model number for the dual band, dual-controllable outlet? I can't find that, is it in the OutletLinc lineup? Thanks, Rick

Also unless I am missing something it seems like all of the Smartlabs Access Point devices are discontinued. It seems there approach is based on building the dual-band AP functionality into more and more of their devices. I wish they would create a standard OutletLinc with dual band instead of just the one with the dimmer outlet. Rick

I fixed the issue! I bought one of the new Smarthome DualBand external plug modules. I plugged that into the non-controlled outlet in my OutletLinc that couldn't be detected by ISY/PLM and it immediately was discovered and works great. Kind of a weird kludge but it solved the network issues. Love it! Rick

I have an OutletLinc outlet (not sure if its dual band) that has always been tricky to respond. I've replaced that OutletLinc over the last few years but it didn't improve it. I removed it from my ISY994i Pro project recently and when I try and Link it it can't be found. Yet if I try discovering in on the same network using the INSTEN Hub and app, its found instantly and it turns on and off every time. This outlet is on my 2nd floor and that floor has a number of SwitchLinc and OutletLinc peers, all of which are working OK. One of the OutletLincs in the adjacent room is brand new and is dual band and I have an Access Point on that floor too. I'm glad I have the INSTEON Hub as a sanity check because this is the 3rd device I thought had gone bad since it would respond through ISY. Any suggestions on how to better get control of the outlet causing me issues? Thanks, Rick

Is there any reason why some entries in the My Lighting list are red versus blue? They work fine but I wasn't sure if Red was bad. The devices with comms issues with an ! are red too that's why I wanted to make sure. Thanks, Rick

I double-checked the wiki and realized I did the Restore PLM before Restore ISY Backup. I went and did Restore PLM and that fixed the 2 scenes I was having an issue with. I did find another 2-way pair where one switch is not operating the lights and the other one does. I did a diagnostics on that scene and see one switch succeeds (the one that works manually) but the other SwitchLinc plus a KeyPadLinc (8-way) button and a RemoteLinc2 button in that scene get a Failed error. When I do a manual On from the ISY console for that scene the KeypadLinc button and the 2 SwitchLincs show they turn On/Off. That reminded me since its been quite a while, does adding devices into a Scene link them together? If so should I remove and add devices into the scene to fix them up? Thanks! Rick

Yeah I did a Restore PLM too. Honestly I think a few of my light switches had come unlinked independently of the PLM failure as manually turning the lights/on off often didn't operate them in unison. I tried stusview's technique and it rewrote the switches I tested but didn't link them. For example I have a Basement Top of Stairs and a Basement Bottom of Stairs SwitchLinc pair. When I turn the Top of Stairs switch on using the ISY console, its LED bar goes up but doesn't turn on. If I do the same thing to the Bottom of Stairs Switch, both bars go up and the Lights properly go on or go off. I can go and operate the Top of Stairs switch and can manually get those lights to go on. I only have 1 two-way and 1 three-way set of switches I need to fix, can I just take care of those small issues and relink them from the ISY console? Thanks, Rick

I replaced my 99i Pro since I heard it was going end of life but I had tried it recently and noticed it had a certificate expired message in the admin console. I wanted to confirm that was a permanent situation and I can go ahead and throw it away. Thanks, Rick
