  1. Today I came back from vacations and discovers that no updates to devices (either locally at the switch for example or through a linked remote) are showing up in the Admin Console ... Had a look at the PLM link tables and it's empty ??? Everything was fine before vacations, system was left running during vacations. Usual reboot of ISY, unplug, replug of PLM did nothing ... After restoring three devices and one remote, their updates are showing up and their links are back in the PLM as well ? What can causes the PLM to lose all links ? What should I do at this point ... restore device by device or restore modem (PLM) ?
  2. No believe me, I did not click query by mistake because I had tried at least half a million time before and it was not working. I am positive, as soon as I group the devices, the temperature showed up.
  3. Is it purely cosmetic because one of my insteon thermostat (the standalone model 2441ZTH) would not report the temperature to the ISY, it would only report the humidity level and I would see blank in the console interface for the temperature. As soon as I group the 3 devices (the main, the cool and the heat devices), the temperature showed up in the console.
  4. Yeah I know about the power cycle. I wanted to be able to do that programatically so that I can change the ON level during the day. Guess I will have to find another way.
  5. Ohh crap, exactly what I was afraid of. I'm cooked then, all my switches are V27 or V35. Darn technology, everything becomes obsolete in no time now, even light switches Thanks.
  6. Hello I seem to be having the same issue and deleting the device and re-adding it does not solve the issue, I also did the query engine command. The switch keeps the old local ON Level, one that was registered by power cycling the device. The switch is a 2476D and its firmware is V27Firmware of the switch is. Here is the log when I changed the local ON level . How can I know it is using the old L1 method like mentionned earlier in the thread ? I am using 3.2.6 on both (ISY and admin console). 7. Thanks. So I guess the same is true for slave switch in a 3-way circuit, they should not be linked manually but rather be part of an ISY Scene where the slave switch is just a controller and the master is a controller/responder. Right ?
  8. Hi there. Brand new user of ISY and a bit confused. I have a remoteLinc linked to a dimmer switch (2476D). This works well, the remote turn on/off/dim the lights. However the status of the light is not reflected in ISY admin console. Should this be done automatically ? The only way I found to have the status of the light reflected in ISY is to create a scene with the remoteLinc (cotroller) and the switch as a controller/responder. I did add the remote as a linked device in ISY through Link Management/Link a remoteLinc. Do I have to create scene for every light I wish to control with a remote to see the status of the light updated in ISY ? Thanks in advance.
