That looks like the route to go. The amp that powers the speakers has a standby mode that is triggered by the Sonos unit. I can use the controller you reference above to monitor the state of the amp and then trigger an outlet linc to turn on the subwoofer. Thanks!

Guys - I have a wireless Polk Audio subwoofer connected to my Sonos system. With my wired subwoofers I can put them into "Auto" mode so they turn on automatically when they sense signal and off when the signal turns off. The wireless version does not support this so I have to turn it on/off manually when I turn on/off Sonos. Is there a way for me to turn the subwoofer on/off automatically via an insteon outlet that is linked via the ISY to Sonos? Thanks.

LeeG - you nailed it. I manually invoked the If statements and the Program Status corrected. Thanks much for explaining. This is helpful b/c I'm writing a house light timer program that will start at the earlier of sunset or 6 PM. To the extent sunset precedes 6 PM, I of course didn't want the program to re-run at 6 PM, so I added a condition (And statement) to only run if Status is False. At the end of the Then statement (6 hours later) I run the If statement which will presumably set the Program Status back to False from True and get the program ready for the next day.

I think I may have confused the question, apologies. What seems to be schizophrenic is program Status. I can't figure out why some programs' Status are indicated as "True" and some are "False". This is happening with two identical programs controlling two separate closet lights. All the If statement is doing in these prgromas is looking to see if the specific scene is On (i.e. looking for a change in status of the device). I also have another program that is time based (i.e. the If statement is Time = 9 AM) and it is showing True even though its 1 PM. Shouldn't it flip to False? Same deal with the Query All program. It's scheduled to Run at 3 AM and is currently showing True.

I don't think that it. I have another set of identical programs that shut off closet lights if left on. Both of those devices are Off, yet one of the programs is True and the other False. Unless of course I have some issue with my PLM that is causing this.

I am attempting to write a new program and am confused over how Program Status works and what triggers it. I must be missing something. For example, I have two garage doors each with a sensor attached. I have an identical program on each that fires off a notification to me if either door is closed (i.e. if the Status of the sensor is "Off"). Both garages are currently closed and the sensor reads "off" in the dashboard. In the Summary tab one of the garage notifications program's Status reads "True" and the other reads "False". I've opened and shut each and Status doesn't change.

will do. Suspect time will tell as it sounds like it has to do with repetitive use of Mobilinc and things not clearing out on the ISY and then freezing it. so far so good. That's my interpretation, but recognize i'm not super technical.

Submitted the ticket and heard back immediately. Here's what they said. BTW, what great support! I am so very sorry to hear. If you are using MobiLinc and specifically Apple Watch, the issue is that MobiLinc does not close sockets consistently. This has been identified and we put a solution that forcefully closes these sockets in 4.4.2. Please do be kind enough to: 1. Clear your Error Log 2. Install 4.4.2 (which is very stable): http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/17732-release-442-beta-is-now-available/ Let us know if you still have the same issues. Confirmed that my firmware and UI are both 4.3.26. PLM Link count 445. Checked log and nothing out of the ordinary seemed to be going on when things crashed. Confirmed computer, router, port forwarding all good and working. Will submit error log. Thx.

PLM is about a year old. I have spare sitting on the counter next to it for all the reasons we know... The reason I think it is my ISY is I tried to access it via its IP address via my computer and no luck )i.e. accessing it directly, not thru PLM). Just got home and rebooted and its working fine now. Also rebooted the PLM so too late to rule that out.

My ISY 994i has frozen up (won't run programs and failes to communicate with my computer via IP Address). If I unplug it and the PLM and then re-plug in, seems to work fine. First time was week or so ago and tehn again today. Is the ISY dying?

I have a scene that is controlled by two toggle lincs (each are set as controller/responders). All works well if I turn the switches on/off locally. If I go into the ISY or through MobilLinc and turn a switch on individually (vs. turning on the scene), it does not control the other switch. If it's the load switch, it will turn on the scene/light. If its the non-load switch it won't. What gives? Here again, the toggle lincs are in the scence as controller/responders and all works fine locally if the switches turned on/off or if the scene is turned on/off through the ISY or MobilLinc.

LeeG - I am at work and remoted in. I see exactly what you are saying. The kitchen light devices where set to 100% within the KeyPadLInc. I adjusted the KeyPad (actually just copied the scene attributes). I'll have to wait till I get home and see if things work from the KeyPad, but I suspect they will. Thanks.

I created a scene called "mood lighting" for my kitchen that turns on several devices controlling indirect lights and hanging pendants. Included in the scene are the devices that control several banks of recessed lights as well as the light over the table. Within the scence I have set the on level on the recessed lights and the table light to 0% and the one level of the indirects and pendants to 100%. When I turn the scence on or off from the ISY UI, it works perfectly. Specifically, the recessed lights and kitchen table light turn off and the indirects and pendants turn on (or stay on if already on). The issue I am having is that I have a 6 key KeyPad Linc in the kitchen and I set up D key to control the mood lighting scene. When I attempt to turn the scene on from the KeyPadLinc everything except the kitchen table light works. In other words, if the table light is off and I turn on the mood lighting scene from the KeyPadLinc, the table light will come on with the indirects and pendants. The recessed lights turn off as they are to do. I have removed the kitchn table light from the scene and then re-added it, but the problem persists. Thoughts?

I added the RC Snubbers on Monday and since then no more problems with the fans.
