Folks, I would like to run certain programs annually, ie. christmas light switched receptacle operates every evening from December 15 to January 15. At the moment I have to program month/day/year. This requires changing the 'year' in the programming annually. Is there a provision for running a program from month/day to month/day with no year specified? Thanks Steve

Thanks guys, I understand why I cannot make the system operate the way I had originally tried. I found a solution I can easily live with. To run and stop from remote I wrote two one line 'then' programs which start the appropriate on station timer and the all off program. I have made these favorites in MobiLinc and configured to 'run then' when the program icon is tapped. Seems to work great and simple (it had to be for me to figure it). Thanks to LeeG and all for the assistance. Steve

Sorry LeeG, one error. All is correct except as as you stated, there can only be one controller in each scene. For scene A , Irrigation on, button A is the controller. For scene B, Irrigation Off, button C is the controller and button A is a responder. As stated by membership window: button A is the controller for scene A, irrigation on. Button A is also a responder to scene B, irrigation off, button C, and a responder to scene A, irrigation on. This works perfectly to start and step through the the eight zones of irrigation. Button A lights and stays lit as I step through the zones. When I press button B the running zone stops and button A light goes out. Thanks again. Steve

Hi LeeG, Firmware version v.40. I understand pushing local buttons is different than sending commands from MobiLinc through ISY PLM. On level is set to 100%. Can't wrap my head around how to build scene or how to program MobiLinc or ISY to be able to turn irrigation on and off via MobiLinc using KeypadLink buttons for local control. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Steve

I have installed an EZFlora and I am using the V2 irrigation program from the Wiki. The original writer used the same device's fast on and fast off to facilitate manual control of the program. I would like to use 2 buttons from a KeypadLinc. I have Button A set for' toggle on' only and button C set for 'toggle off' only. Each button is in its own scene with the addition of the C button 'toggle off' as a controller in the A button scene. This works perfect from the local KeypadLinc but I cannot get these buttons to function via MobiLinc. I would appreciate some insight and possible solutions. Thanks. Steve

I have enticed a friend to jump on the ISY bandwagon and he is up and running through Mobilinc Connect but he cannot log in remotely via a web browser to the ISY UI. He has made all the correct port forward settings and we can ping the router from remote. An Explorer Diagnose Connection tells us that the router is online but not responding to connection attempts. Thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks. Steve

Andy, We understand that point. I have a motion sensor that sends an on command every 2 to 6 minutes even if installed in a motionless environment and oaklandjeff now has one doing the same thing. These are faulty devices. The dusk/dawn complaint arises from testing three motion sensors with dusk/dawn set to the same level sitting side by side on the same window sill pointing in the same direction and having the dusk/dawn sensors pick up at four very different light levels. I also have one mounted in a hallway with windows at both ends that will not change dusk/dawn state regardless of having the light setting on 0 or 1 or 255? I attribute these inconsistencies to quality but not complaining as they are quite inexpensive and I have been able to make them work in each individual situation. Steve

Oaklandjeff, LeeG looked at my log files and determined that it was probably a defective MS. I have tried to resurrect it many times with factory resets and fresh batteries. Even completely disassembled and checked for solder bridges or cold solder joints. Cleaned solder flux with isopropyl and reassembled with no joy. Contacted supplier who were happy to exchange but after figuring shipping costs decided it was hardly worth the effort. Sorry to hear you had same experience. A colleague of mine and I have installed small systems using ISY and Smarthome components and we both feel that the motion sensors have a quality issue and seem to be the weakest link in our systems, especially the dusk/dawn sensing, but at $35 each..........thats pretty inexpensive for an RF motion sensor. Cheers. Steve

Bill, Missed something in previous post. Add the devices as controllers. Sorry. Steve Sent from my phone

Bill, Read your posts a couple of times saw that you always linked the devices to each other before adding them to the ISY. The method I've always used is to link the devices to the ISY and allow the 'scene' function of the ISY to create the links between the devices. Remove the two switches from the admin console. Factory reset the two switches. Start admin console and put console into link mode. Push the link tab on each device for about 5 seconds. Allow the ISY to clear all links in the devices. Create scene and drag the two devices into the scene. (the ISY will generate the links) I'm relatively new at this myself, but have always made all links via the ISY admin console. Once the links are made in the scene they will reside in the switch devices and will work even without ISY running. If I missed it above and you have already tried this then pay no attention. Thanks. LeeG Last try to upload file. Sorry, can't upload an .xlsx either. Could you PM me a real address that I could upload a file for you to look at? Thanks. Steve

Another attempt to add file! Can't seem to attach .txt or .old file. I will research what I 'can' upload and attempt later. Thanks. Steve

LeeG, I am going to attempt to attach a log file of the last 50 minutes or so with the MS in a location of no movement, no sun and no heat sources. Steve

LeeG Have tried a new battery with same results. Have repositioned in a room with absolutely no movement and will check log tomorrow. Thanks. Steve Sent from my phone

I have a 2420M motion sensor in an upstairs hallway perched on an upstairs hall half wall railing. It is being used to turn on the hall lights as night lights after dark. Just got looking at the logs and I see that the sensor goes to 100% every 2 to 6 minutes on average meaning the lights are on dim most of the night. I have already set the motion sensitivity low with the jumper. Any ideas why it is constantly turning on? Thanks. Steve
