  1. Thanks Lee I will run the test and see what comes up. Not sure if they are on opposite 120v legs. But they are in RF range.
  2. In the scene if I select the outlet linc I can turn the light on and off but the KPL H button will not go on or off. It is almost like the button will not communicate with the outlet linc?
  3. Both the outlet and the KPL show on level at 100%
  4. One other interesting thing. I can control the light on the Universal Console under the regular device setting but not from when I put it in a scene linked to the KPL. If I try and turn on the light through the scene the KPL button lights up but the actual light does not. If I go directly to the outletlinc not in the scene I can turn the lght on and off.
  5. Thanks for the response Lee. No the outlet linc is not a dimmer. I have KeypadLinc button H as the controller and outletlinc as the responder. Yes, when I turn on the Outletlinc from the Admin Console. The light goes on and when I click on the KPL name the on level remains at0%
  6. I have an Insteon wall outlet. I have china cabinet light plugged into the outlet. I have repeatedly tried to program one of the buttons on the KPL to operate it and it will not. Am I missing something with the wall outlet device? I can turn on the device by way of the computer but not buy the button on the KPL. Confused.
  7. I just changed one of my KPL from a 6 button to an 8 button. Everything is working but how do I add the new buttons?Do I have to delete the device and then add it back in to get the other buttons? If so, I would lose all the scenes? Thanks
  8. With that said how can I correct it so that I do not want the else to run when the lamp program is running. Basically I do not want the garage program to execute any light on or off until after 10:10pm. How would I word that? My wording seems to be close but I need to add what? To make that happen.
  9. Just tested it again and as soon as I open the garage the program status says running else. Why if it isn't scheduled until 10:10pm?
  10. OK.....everything works great except I ran into one small problem. This program is suppose to run from 10:10pm until 1:10am next day. The family room lamp that is on this program is also on another program that turns the lamp on from 8pm until 10pm just like a regular timer. Unfortunately if I come through the garage door between 8 and 10 it seems the lamp will go off after 2 min. What am I missing. The 8 to 10 program should not be effected because I don't have the other program starting until 10:10pm right? Confused???
  11. sorry I changed it to hallway! Thanks for the help. I will look at it again. At least I know I'm on the right track.
  12. If From 10:10:00PM To 1:10:00AM (next day) And Status 'Garage / Garage door-Sensor' is On Then Set Scene 'Family Room Scenes / Family Room Lamp' On Set Scene 'Kitchen Scenes / Kitchen Cabinets' On In Scene 'Hallway Scenes / Hallway' Set 'Hallway / Hallway' 25% (On Level) Else Wait 2 minutes Set Scene 'Kitchen Scenes / Kitchen Cabinets' Off Set Scene 'Family Room Scenes / Family Room Lamp' Off Set Scene 'Hallway Scenes / Hallway' Off
  13. Can you have more than one line under the then? For instance when my garage door opens I want two different lights to go on. Right now I have "set scene" family room lights on. Under that I have "set scene" bedroom lamp on. I want both to go off after 10 min. So far I can get everything to work correctly except the bedroom lamp will not go on???? Do I need to do a separate program exactly the same just adding bedroom lamp? Thanks for the help
  14. OK I think I get what you are saying, but I have an Open button and a Close button on my phone and they both do what is said, open and close. So if I am understanding this correctly, then in this case I can use the close button or off in my program and it will close the door just as if I was executing the command from my phone......right?
