  1. Hello all, since it has been over half a year now, I would like to know if there will ever be a solution for this issue? Even with FW 2.7.4 the EZ i/o input status is still not getting updated without doing a manual query on the device? It seems like the ISY is only good for some basic devices like dimmers and switches/lamplincs. Most of everything else just doesn't work right with the ISY. I am just wondering if there is a better solution (one that actually works with all Insteon devices) than the ISY out there? For some users this might not be important but I need a reliable solution that can process an easy input/output status on connected Insteon devices. I would be thankful for any recommendation! Thank you very much in advance!
  2. Hello Michel, you said there should be a solution within three weeks. This was posted 6 weeks ago. Are there any updates on this yet?
  3. Thank you very much for your reply Joe.So you don't have any issues or "humming" motors or dimmers with this setup? I will certainly try this and see if it works. Thanks again.
  4. Thank you Michel! - I will check for any updates on this issue
  5. I finally got time to get my EZIO8SA working with my ISY. But I am having an issue with the staus of my inputs. I have to manually query the EZIO status to see any changes on inputs. Of course my programs won't run if the status of the inputs doesn't change on the ISY. Do you guys have similiar issues or any suggestions on how I can get the EZIO to show changes on my inputs (without doing a manual query on the device in the admin console)? Would be thankful for any help...
  6. Hi Brignolo, nice setup. I would like to know what device you are using to control your fan? Since the fan motor is an inductive load a standard Insteon dimmer wouldn't do the job. I am looking to control my fans as well but haven't found any Insteon device that can handle inductive loads and varies the output so you can get variable circumferential speed on the motor.
  7. Sorry, I did a search but could not find a thread for this question; I changed one of my KPL's from 6 to 8 button mode, but the ISY still displays it as a 6 button KPL. I tried 'restore device' but that didn't do anything either. Do I have to remove the device/KPL and re-add it? I hope this is not the case as this particular device is already a member of 14 different scenes and I would hate to add it manually to all of them again. The ISY seems to be very slow anyway and this would take forever. Thanks in advance
  8. Hello Michel, thank you for your response. I turned off all my firewalls but I am still getting the same error. After updating to the 2.6.2 Version it also tells me to disable my internet access which is already disabled in the ISY software. I am getting the exact same error messages and I am logged in locally. Any idea what this could be?
  9. How do you turn off KeyPadLinc lights with a different scene. Let's say Button B on one KPL is a Movie Scene and Button C is a Party Scene. If the Movie Scene is selected and I press Party Scene the same KPL (button C) or from any another KPL or RemoteLinc that has a Party Scene button as well how can I turn off all other KPL lights in my house except the one for the Party scene on one KPL? It's easy to turn off the loads but I can't figure out how to turn off the KPL button lights. The same is true for programs as there is not even an option to select any non-load KPL buttons (only loads show up in the 'Action' option) so I cannot turn off/on KPL button lights with an action in a program either?
  10. I am getting the exact same error messages and I am logged in locally. Any idea what this could be?
