the bulb is incandescent and the lamp has a simple on/off switch. maybe the behavior I'm looking for is not possible -- the device is plugged in and lamp is plugged in to the device. the light on the device is red. I want to be able to turn on the lamp at the lamp switch and have the device sense the load and switch on (light on device turns to green). Thanks.

Thanks for getting involved. The device is LampLinc 2457D2. Folled the steps per documentation - Press and hold set til blinking - press 3 times. The load is a standard table lamp. -Jim

Hi, I can't seem to get the load sensing to work on my LampLinc devices. I have enabled Load Sensing - LampLinc is turned off (red) - I turn on the light using its switch - nothing happens. What am I doing wrong. Thanks, Jim
