No reason not to... What do I need to add to my ISY994i to get it to work
-
I too would like to thank dstanley, jonathanud, and everyone for the great work on this. As a non-programmer I want to add a few simple steps for those that do not understand how to use the network resources module to make this Sonos integration a snap. 1- find the IP address of any Sonos zone player. 2- download either or both of the two zip files 3- import one or both zip files into the network resource manager START SIMPLE 4- open the URL of the imported resource sonos.lr.pause or bedroom.pause 5- change the host IP address 6- save the change 7- press save at the bottom of the network resource screen 8- open ISY programs 9- create a sonos.pause program with Then resource sonos.lr.pause or bedroom.pause 10- save the program 11- open the Sonos app on any device and play any selection 12- select the ISY sonos.pause program 13- run then (right mouse click) 14- observe that you paused the player NOW EXPAND 15- change and save the IP address of other resource URL's 16- re-read the discussion notes from the authors and tailor to your needs 17- create more resources and programs with if statements to fit your application

Michel, Are you able to comment about UDI development with this API. I need to integrate HVAC into my ISY home management network My HAEcoSystem.... I have a 994i integrated with an ELK M1, ISY-ELK module using MobiLincHD, MobiLinc Connect, MobiLincPro for Android as UI. Ubiquity IP cameras for surveillance I use ELK temp sensors to monitor different areas. I have 2 heat pump systems, one with a WiFi VisionPro8000 and an older Honeywell 7 day programmable My 2014 enhancement plan Replace the old Honeywell thermostat with a new Honeywell WiFi and integrate both thermostats it into my ISY system Replace my TED energy management with Brultech and the ISY>Brultech module Deploy MobiLinc GeoFence awareness for location based HVAC and lighting and energy management Thanks Neal Nilsen

SmartHome Pro will not replace that version. The period of defect notice has expired. I spent $$$$ to replace all mine.

I do not know for sure but.. current on level was set to 30% when A/D or C/F settings were made at each KPL

as requested... Type is KPL-D 6B v.2C (2486D) Address is: 0A.E4.17 Values are 7 amd 15 ( I assume this is brightes when off and brightes when on)

What is the KeypadLinc firmware level? >>>>> 6B-v.36 / 8B-v.2D What is the ISY firmware level? >>>>> 3.2.6 What backlight values are being set? >>>>> the level when a button is off and the level when a button is on did not understand the reference to buttons A/D. Individual button backlight level cannot be changed. A change to backlight level applies to all buttons on the KeypadLinc. From manual LED Brightness KeypadLinc’s LEDs can be set to any one of 32 brightness levels. 6-Button Configuration 1) Simultaneously tap the A and D buttons KeypadLinc will beep 2) Use the On (brighter) and Off (dimmer) buttons to adjust LED brightness 3) When you have reached desired brightness, simultaneously tap the A and D buttons again KeypadLinc will beep Back to ready mode 8-Button Configuration 1) Simultaneously tap the C and F buttons KeypadLinc will beep 2) Press & hold On button to adjust the LED brightness. (Each press & hold will toggle between brightening and dimming) 3) When you have reached desired brightness, simultaneously tap the C and F buttons KeypadLinc will beep

I am trying to perform the variable backlight level adjustment for keypadlinc 6 button in ISY admin 3.2.6 by using the main/device/led brightness button settings. I see ISY communicate to KPL by watching the event viewer I am able to use the KPL A/D button setup, but not able to change via ISY. LED brightness in Wiki does not have much info. What am I doing wrong
-
I do not appear to have any communication issues. Small home < 2k sq ft I have access points and dual band devices all over the house, hardwire phase couplers at both breaker panels, and filters on all AV and computer gear. Like most DYI projects, The 'system' devices started as X10 brand, migrated to switchlinc v1, then insteon v2 Controllers have been Houselinc, Touchlinc, Homeseer Pro, Home Control Assistant, and tada... ISY 994i The installed count is: 0- Therms 0- 2486 v2A 6- 2486 v2D 4- 2476 v35 So cost to replace will be a bit... What should I be looking for... Can I use the ISY event viewer to analyze signal, hops etc. Does your Wiki describe how to read the ISY event viewer. I found a few old X10 commands still programmed in the migrated switches that I was able to clear
-
I just sorted my main device list to discover I have 4- v35 switchlinc in my home what should I be on the look out for
