  1. So I received my new PLM, do I simply unplug the old one and connect the new one to my ISY or do I need to sync something? Thanks
  2. So basically the Smartenit Insteon Serial PLM is connected the same way then the 2413S to the isy and both are used for the same purpose. Is the Smartenit more reliable?
  3. Hi guys, My PLM doesn't seem to work anymore. I tried to unplug it and reconnect it but could not get any of my light/programs to work anymore. Need to buy another one but would like to know what is the different between INSTEON Dual Band PLM Serial Interface vs.Smartenit Insteon Serial PLM. Do both devices get connected to the ISY? hope you can help me clarify these devices thanks
  4. Thanks Xathros, I unplugged the ISY and when lauched the application again all was good. Note to self, look at the simple stuff first Thank you very much, its much appreciated

  6. all I see is a progress bar titled Linking, indicating "Please do not power off/unplug the system or make adjustments to linked/attached devices" and when the progress bar reaches 100% its starts over
  7. Hi everybody, I'm having some issues with my system and need some help to resolve. Everything was working find and for some reason when I type my ISY IP address and enter my password to access my system It keeps displaying a message that its linking. The progress bar reached 100% and then its starts over again. Its been doing this for at least 20 min and I'm not sure whats going on. Can someone please help solve this issue Thanks
  8. Hi everybody, I have an ISY 994i/IR PRO set up to send emails to my live.ca account for specific rules. For some reason it stopped working after 2 years of no issuesand Im not sure why my test email also dont work. I get an error message Mail Server Failure, TLS negotiation failed. SMTP sever used is smtp.live.com Port in use is 587. I tried changing this but no sucess tried to do some reading, tryied to change email account but not able to get it to work again. What should I look at. Anybody else have this issue and was it solved?

  12. Hi everybody, I have now spent hours trying to set my ISY-994I/IR PRO and keep getting Discovering nodes retry message. I was following the instructions that came with the device and was doing well up until i needed to set up the Query. How do I fix this? Why do I get this message? I am discourage dont know what to do anymore. Please help
