I looked at the Wiki and it says the Polisy does support the 2413u's (which I have two of). So it appears I can get out of the 2413s debacle by going with Polisy and my two existing 2413u's.

I have the ISY994i and a failing 2413s with over a 100 Insteon devices. I also have 2413u's. It sounds like I can upgrade to the Polisy and use my 2413u's and transfer all my existing programming from the ISY994i to the Polisy

Yes I did. I just did a factory reset and reloaded my backup file and then reset my P/U back to the original and all seems to be working now. Thanks!

thanks. the programs are enabled @oberkc @MrBillI will test this out by changing the programs on the switches that turn on successfully by Time of Day and see if the status command works on them. @MrBill when I do manually turn the switch on, the admin panel tells me they are on, though sometimes I have to query the system to see that it turned on, so maybe they did get partially taken out. I have gone through more Insteon switches bighting the dust from a damn power failure than seems reasonable.

I have had ISY running programs that haven't been touched for close to 10 yrs. now. We had a power failure (days) and supplemented part of the house with a generator. When the grid came back up, my programs that check the status of an Insteon light switch stopped working. If I run the program from the "IF" part in the ISY Admin Console, the program works. In this instance I turn the switch on from the ISY Admin Console. If I turn the Insteon switch on / off at the switch, the program will not execute. The program's are very simple. Check the status of the switch. If it is on, then wait N minutes and turn the switch off. I did a screen grab of the program below. All of this was somehow induced from the power going out. The ISY994i seems to be working fine as I can get into from the ISY Admin console. Programs that are based off of time of day work fine. Anyone have any ideas on troubleshooting this?

There was a topic on this back in 2014, that was for Blue Iris 4. The same method doesn't seem to work in Blue Iris 5. I simply want to take a motion event from a camera managed by Blue Iris 5 and execute a program in ISY994i to turn on a light for 5 minutes and then turn it off. I can't find any instructions on how to do that. I see that there is Polygot mentioned for integration between Blue Iris 5 and ISY994i, but I don't really want to install a nodeserver to just do that type of operation.

i didn't explicitly do a restore device, I just restored the backup and then that mapped the name of the device back to the original name. However all the buttons on the keypad no longer function, even though the Admin Console shows that they are still part of the necessary scenes.... I was in the process of removing all of the references in the scenes to that keypad and adding them back in manually. I haven't completed that yet though... Sounds like I need to redelete it, re-add it and then add it back to all the scenes?

I had changed my PLM to the 2413S at the same time as I upgraded my ISY991 to the ISY994i. Backing up the ISY, deleting the keypad, linking the keypad and then restoring the ISY solved the problem! Thanks!

Brand new 2413S.

I finally migrated my ISY99i to my ISY 994i. In the process I've had two things go bad. The first one is that one of my KeypadLinc Dimmer's shows the "write changes icon", even after I say to write changes out. The attached also has the log attached. It seems that it is stuck trying to write changes out, but it can't. Any ideas?

I had to replace some of my failed Insteon switches. In doing so I came across the problem in this thread. I followed the directions using Firefox and the admin console would start. However, in the middle of updating the switches the console crashes. I have tried this three times (also clearing the Java cache) and I continue to have the admin console crash. I have ordered the 994i upgrade, but in the meantime I can't use my new switches because the admin console continues to crash. What is necessary to keep the console from crashing?

I tried disconnecting the cable between the PLM and the ISY also. It still is locked up.

I am currently unplugging the PLM and nothing else. I will also try disconnecting the cable between the two.

I have been on 2.7.6 FW for my ISY 99 for some time now. However, over the last couple weeks, it has stopped working (i.e. lights won't turn on, i can't see it on the network). I unplug it and plug it back in and then it starts working again. It's to the point that I have to reboot it every two days to keep it working. Any ideas on what could be going on as I haven't changed anything in the last two weeks and I rarely had this behavior over the 1.5 yrs that I have been using it.

Forget it... I update to 2.6.3 beta... it works now on the PocketPC

When I try to get to the ISY99 from my Pocket PC (TMobile Wing -- Windows Mobile 6.0), i get: HTTP ERROR:$CODE$ RequestURI=/ My ISY99 says that it is version v1.0.0. I don't have the option to automatically update the FW to the reference 2.6.3
