  1. Based on what UD support is telling me, regarding my open ticket, the problems I'm experiencing are not related to ports but to issues caused when UD moved some profile data into new database tables and apparently my data only partially transferred correctly. :(
  2. I think there are several items which are causing v.6.0 users’ confusion… at least I have been confused on some of what has been posted in this forum. Below is one example of what is causing me (and maybe others) some confusion When I use IoX Finder… Whether I choose “Admin Console (LAN) or Admin Console (Cloud) the only login option for the "Admin Console" is with my Portal credentials… But according to wiki… Wiki link https://wiki.universal-devices.com/Eisy:User_Guide#Changes_introduced_with_eisy-ui states: Everything that worked before continues to work the same way: · IoX will respond to API requests on port 8080/8443 and require the same local username & password · PG3x/Plugins can still be used using https://eisy.local:3000, using your local username & password Now wmcneil posted this… Great having multiple ways to access but what about the wiki “Everything that worked before continues to work the same way:” Can we have some consistency and establish “best practices”? Just asking.
  3. Good to know. I knew this to be a local connection just didn't understand why others were posting the eisy URL as an https:. Thanks for the clarification.
  4. While attempting to resolve my issues with the new UI I noticed I am unable to establish a secure connection to my eisy... http: but not https:. Anyone with thoughts on this? Am I missing something? While attempting to resolve my issues with the new UI I noticed I am unable to establish a secure connection to my eisy... http: but not https:. Anyone with thoughts on this? 5. Ticket opened 2025-09-01. I will update when it is closed.
  6. I will follow your suggestion and open a ticket. Where do I find/access the outputs you suggest I include in ticket? Tks.
  7. Right! Think I did this yesterday, now after trying it again... no change.
  8. I don't see "Reinstall all plugins" in Main Menu/Settings.
  9. I'll give that a shot. Thanks Athlon!
  10. I somewhat agree with Geddy. The UI does not yet have the flexibility of the Admin Console but its early in development and non (or few) of us are comfortable with it as yet. I'll keep an open mind and wait to see what potentially develops... I won't miss Java!
  11. Understand these are 2 different UI's but they both share many of the same devices and programs. Just wishful thinking that the favorites in UD Mobile might potentially be sync-able with eisy UI someday. I'm still working through the "Tile" option. I have a plugin working as a tile but I'm not having much success at adding other nodes, singularly or in combination. Think the UD folks have done a great job at developing this product but it's not working well for me at this time... could be me and/or could be the interface needing further development. Think we both need some work. Thanks for your input.
  12. Alright, think I'm good with the UI but I'll wait until it's developed a bit further, I just don't find it very useful at the moment but the potential is promising. Still trying to work through the PG3 "Notification Notices:". One reads "ERROR: 09/29/2025 13:21:59 See log for: Please verify your portal_api_key value". Another, "HolidaysGoogle Notices:" states "Not authenticated or invalid authentication". I don't recall seeing these before the v.6 update and both plugins show "connected" and appear to be working. Digging deeper into the "HolidaysGoogle Notices:" I get this screen...
  13. This UI is "Bleeding Edge" PAINFUL! But maybe because it's NOT all there yet? I'm not having much luck creating "Tiles". Should the "Favorites" in my mobile app be synchronizing with 'Tiles" (or something) in the UI?
  14. My question as well!!
  15. Apparently I am still not up to speed with v.6.0.0. This version requires login (on PC) with portal username and password... this is far more inconvenient than my previous login... but OK. Am I correct I should still be using IoX Finder to locally access my eisy? If so, the links to PG3 in the IoX Finder and in the UD Administrative Console take me to the old https://192.168.xxx.xxx:3000/dashboard NOT the new UI https://eisy.local/pg3/dashboard. I feel I must be doing something WRONG. Any help is appreciated. Also I'm getting "Notification Notices:" in the new PG3 dashboard. One reads "ERROR: 09/29/2025 13:21:59 See log for: Please verify your portal_api_key value". In another notice for "HolidaysGoogle Notices:" is "Not authenticated or invalid authentication". Digging deeper into the "HolidaysGoogle Notices:" I get this screen...
  16. Once I reset my password and logged in all of my nodes were present.
  17. Athlon, just logged out and back in and I did not get the "AutoUpdate Status" stating "Failed retrieving product information" error. I am stil having to login using my portal username and password. Is this login an issue or is it part of the v.6.0.0 update? Any comments are welcome.
  18. I'm wondering if this has something to do with https://192.168.xxx.xxx:3000/dashboard and https://eisy.local/pg3/dashboard Polyglot 3x access. Where are the directions/instructions to fix this (if it is the issue)?
  19. When I log into eisy on PC I am now asked to login using my Portial username and password. I am also getting an error popup window titled "AutoUpdate Status" stating "Failed retrieving product information". Any assistance or direction regarding these issues would be appriciated.
  20. Here is an update from UDI on the original topic of this post... "That is currently the defined behavior for everything but 'raw text'. Find/Replace looks at the content of the programs (i.e. references to the program) not the name of the program itself. This is the same as if you are searching for a node, etc." Many thanks to the UD support folks for clarification on this item! @Chris Jahn
  21. I’ve had no error in AC the past 72 hours. This morning, I received this error after opening the AC. The node tree also displayed about a dozen or so “waiting rewrites” icons . Apparently, I had closed the AC with both “Automatic Writes to Devices” and “Automatic Writes to Battery Powered Devices” buttons in the ribbon turned off. I understand IoX remembers changes but should AC be displaying this error message? I turned both buttons back on, waited for the writes to complete, then closed the AC, reopened IoX logged into AC and immediately received these 3 popups… After logging in to the "Authenticate EISY" popup I cleared the 2 error popups closed AC, opened IoX and again signed into AC. At this point I did not receive any arrors and AC/isy appeared stable. This may not be the appropriate place to document this issue and perhaps I should open a new topic but this is a continuation of “things” experienced after migrating from 994 to eisy. I'm open to any suggestions.
  22. I know what the acronyms are and what they stand for I’m just questing the “simple functions”. On this site there is a forum: “eisy for Hardware related discussions…” an “IoX Support for ISY on Anything (IoX) - support for the ISY system running on all platforms” a “Polyglot v3 (PG3x) for All things Polyglot v3 (PG3/PG3x) on either…”. I opened this topic in this (IoX Support) because to me it’s software related not hardware (eisy) and not (Polyglot v3). I’ve been using a UD 994 for a little over a decade. When posting a topic I always wonder if I’m posting in the correct forum. That is why I’m questing what the simple functions are. To me IoX works somewhat like a “browser/search engine” (a “finder”). AC is like a Java GUI for the isy (ie; software), but there is no AC or software forum as such. Polyglot is… well polyglot… it’s kind of self-explanatory… a library of different language translators/converters for the Java GUI (AC). Your thoughts?
